I’ve been using Surfshark for a few months now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The connection speeds are incredibly fast and stable—I barely even notice it's running in the background while streaming or gaming.

What I love most is the unlimited simultaneous connections. I can protect all my family's devices (phones, laptops, and TV) with just one subscription, which is a massive money-saver. The app interface is clean, modern, and super easy to navigate, even for someone who isn't a tech expert.

I also had a quick question for their customer support team, and they responded via live chat within minutes and resolved it instantly. If you're looking for a reliable, affordable, and secure VPN, Surfshark is definitely the way to go. Highly recommended!

I have been using Surfshark since 2022.
I choose a biennual subscription and find the app. and service most commendable in nearly all aspects.
I like the features that offer personalised control of my online security. The Dashboard, Home and Settings offer a comprehensive range of filtering and control and are easy to use.
The subscription rate and the application to unlimited number of devices was a big factor in my choosing Surfshark.
The app. does not restrict by speed online.
However, there is one issue that I'm not happy with and, admittedly, this only began in 2026 when Google began blocking my access to their search engine because Surfshark shares IP addresses with many subscribers and this makes Google think we are bots. Finally fed up with this, my only solution, other than turning Surfshark off, was to pay quite a hefty extra fee in order to subscribe to a Personal IP address. This solution works but I am quite annoyed that I have to fork out extra money on top of my subscription due to Surfshark's failure to solve the problem themselves. If they don't fix the problem and give loyal subscribers a discount for a personal IP I will certainly shop around when subscription renewal comes.
This is the reason I have only given them 4/5 stars.
Also, it would be nice if Surfshark cleaned up their redundant files on my devices after their updates. I have a heap of Surfshark TAP Driver Windows files doing absolutely nothing except munching up data space.

Over all Surfshark has worked very well for me. I find it easy to setup / modify or update. The support is very good and has a fast turnaround time so I give you 5 stars. Nothing is perfect and I have two items I hope will be improved in the future. The dedicated ip runs slow compaired to other locations I use and the antivirus will not run with another antivirus installed on the computer. I think it would be great if the Surfshark antivirus could run with another installed antivirus. Having both would be a great defense for the users. I do feel you are doing a great job and have a very fine product and it will only become better.

Have had it for awhile now. Works great, however, I have to remember to pause it at times....especially when checking/sending emails out. Very easy to use. Highly recommend it to keep your computer safe.

Surfshark is always reliable, my wife and myself do a lot of travelling overseas and Surfshark keeps us safe and up to date, it has never let us down since we joined a few years ago, it's also affordable and easy to navigate

Customer service is super helpful, friendly and responsive. It's great to have a VPN for travel and this is easy to use.

the price for 27 months of VPN is very reasonable and downloading the App and installing it on an iPhone and an iPad was very easy.
Why four stars it’s because frankly it’s fairly incompatible with my Ring security system. I have to disconnect the VPN App at night so that I can connect the Ring Alarm and set it. In the morning I disconnect the Ring Alarm and then reconnect the VPN.
I hope there is an easy fix!

I was very skeptical at first to get a VPN. But I finally got Surfshark and it is very easy to install and use. I find my streaming is going smoother than usual.

Love Surfshark and can confirm that the customer support was easy and my problem fixed. Very friendly customer support too.

Connection is easy. I have a large number of choices to make when needing to connect in the US. The only issue I am having is that Surfshark will, at times, tell me I have a bad connection and I will have to shut down Surfshark in order to get my wifi connection back.

The product was great at first. Everything worked as described with no intervention other than a quick and easy set-up. I lost power and everything rebooted on power up and then the problems started. The VPN never re-connected after several days of trying every 'fix' listed on their trouble shooting page. I tried reaching out to support through the diagnostic button with a bunch of the same help listed on the trouble shooting page. I think my troubleshooting person was basically an AI bot. I ended up un-installing and going another route.

edit 6/18/2026: Completely un-installed and re-installed and now is working fine. Hopefully the next power outage the same will not be required moved the rating up to 3 stars.
