Absolutely disgusting service

Thomas cleaning came out to me and provide a very very poor service, I emailed them to let them know, I also sent through photos as I was very unhappy. It’s not the cheapest and I expected to come home to a clean home.
When I complained I was met with a reply of “we will have a word with our staff to make sure they do better” not helpful as I was £48 out of pocket and didn’t get the clean done to an good standard.
We sent messages back and forth, one lady was nice and helpful one guy Hristo was rude demanding I pay or he wouldn’t give me my house key back.
They agreed they wouldn’t charge me I have the emails to back this up and still took the payment which wasn’t authorised by myself but as they already had my details still took the money after saying they wouldn’t. Hristo was very rude and patronising even saying am I for real. I’m so upset and shocked how a company can behave a lie to clients. I was treated so badly and poorly the customer service was appalling. Now I’m being ignored for wanting a refund as they said I wouldn’t be charged but went ahead and took the payment anyway. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Be aware!!! Do not use this company. Absolutely shocking.

We paid for a full house and oven…

We paid for a full house and oven clean. The oven was not cleaned and no refund has been forthcoming, also Holly at Chipping Norton is not responding to emails, very disappointing that you pay for a service and it isn't completed awaiting an answer from HQ..... I'll update if or when I get a response I've made the estate agents in our local town aware of their poor service.

AVOID

I paid £175 for a deep clean in December as I was moving into my first property. The house was empty also making it easier to see what needed to be cleaned. When I arrived it only looked like a mop / hoover had been done at least. Dust on walls, skirting boards were filthy, kitchen cupboards were still dirty, dust covered all the lights etc. I then proceeded to make a complaint and sent evidence of all the dirt on 13th of December. I am still waiting to hear back from the company on this issue. I have called head office and done a number of emails and not had anything back from this company.

Unfortunately I would not recommend using this company who also claim "Customer service is our business, and it’s at the heart of everything we do" but they cannot respond to any emails or even call me to discuss this case. I feel like I have been scammed out of £175 as the service I paid for was not what I received and now just being ignored. I also feel like they think that I will just accept it and not chase them on this matter if they just keep ignoring.

I would give 0 Stars if possible.
Avoid at all costs.

Excellent Cleaning Service Thomas Cleaning Aylesbury & High Wycombe

We have employed Thomas Cleaning Aylesbury & High Wycombe for a weekly clean service in my mums home in Fairford Leys Aylesbury.
Mum is disabled and housebound, the team of 2 cleaners let themselves in with a key and get started immediately. They clean and tidy, take the rubbish out, change bin bags and make beds.
They are a godsend and they make time to speak to my mum too, ensuring they ask her what she would like done. Mum is very happy.
I also booked them for an end of tenancy clean at my flat in High Wycombe and they did a brilliant job ensuring that I got 100% of my deposit back :)
Highly recommend Thomas Cleaning Aylesbury and High Wycombe.
I will be booking them for regular cleaning at my new house once we are settled. I have just discovered they offer ironing services too!
Honestly a brilliant service offered by a professional team.

I have been using my local Thomas Cleaning on an adhoc basis. I have dealt with the same person, Ugur, who is alway quick to respond to my booking requests. The team that come are very professional, and friendly, they clean brilliantly, they are a delight to have in my house,thank you

Cambridge

I recently signed up for the service in Cambridge. The first clean, 4hours at £25 an hour was fantastic and I thought my life has been simplified. Context is I have a generally clean house but needed a monthly assistance with details like thorough floor cleaning, blinds and wiping of doors and cabinets. The second time the team came they did a mediocre job, so in good faith I sent the video of the job to the owner, who sent back her team the next day. The person sent did a bare minimum and insisted that I needed to add the time. I reached out to the owner inviting them to come and see the shoddy job for themselves, or if busy to send a supervisor. The owner informed me the supervisor had been to my house already and originally cleaned the house. They also noted that the person was a family relation and I guessed that meant their work did not need to be reviewed. I opted out of the service mainly due to the owners clear disconnection in ensuring a high standard of service. Given that the team had been in the house for a total equivalent of four hours (2hr per staff) and done a poor job, the suggestion that I add two more hours sounded like business sense without considering how much more they could do in that time based on their poor pace.

Avoid.

Booked for an end of tenancy clean and ended up losing a chunk of my deposit because they did such a terrible job. I was promised a refund, which didn't materialise, and now they're ignoring my emails. Cannot recommend.

perfect, hassle-free cleaning

Have just signed up with Thomas Cleaning and couldn’t be happier with the service. It’s so easy to start, the managers on the phone and by email are really helpful. We pay by direct debit so don’t have to worry about sorting cash the night before.

Robert Nagy and team were amazing. I have never seen our flat so immaculate! Everything was absolutely sparkling and he was a lovely guy. I am so pleased that we signed up for Thomas Cleaning. Would recommend to anyone

First time.

Used them for the first time and will certainly continue to use them for my regular fortnightly clean. The e-mail advising you of the approximate time they will arrive, which you receive the night before, is a nice feature. The staff were friendly and efficient and as for the clean, to sum up, 'it does what it says on the tin'.

Good clean. Terrible customer service

I had Thomas Cleaning clean my house. The cleaner did a great job so I requested their service again. The same cleaner arrived and whilst she was in my house I received an email to say Thomas Cleaning offers a franchise and they were no longer dealing with the company who’d sent my cleaner - whilst she was in my house! I obviously queried this and was told that they had ceased the contract (would’ve been nice to know before I had someone in my house!) but they could offer me a new cleaner at the same price - apparently I had been undercharged but the owner said this wasn’t a problem and I could continue to have a cleaner at the original price quoted. Days later I received an email to say ‘we can’t do it at that price, sorry’. I called to query this and was told my query would be looked into and I would be called back. I received no phone call. I called again and spoke to the owner who said ‘no we can’t do it at that price - you can go to the other guy if you choose to’.
The clean was great but the customer service was terrible. I shouldn’t have had a cleaner in my house if they weren’t part of the organisation - they should have checked their bookings to ensure all customers knew of any changes. The owner shouldn’t have promised me the price I was originally quoted if this couldn’t be delivered on. In and amongst all of this I continued to receive calls and emails from the other person ( who they’d ceased the franchise with) which was uncomfortable- I did not want to get involved in company politics.

Professional & Thorough

Thomas Cleaning is a very professional company. Communication is excellent; I was booked two cleaners within two days of calling. The cleaners are well trained and thorough. I’ve only had them come once so far but very excited to keep working with them. I particularly like that they bring their own equipment and ask if you want anything cleaned in a specific way. Payment is made by bank transfer after each clean. They do ask for a minimum of 2 hours, however. So if you’re place is small they might finish early but you’ll still pay the full amount.

Local co-ordinator is the weak link

Had high hopes after speaking to central team, despite the high cost. I feel that the local co-ordinatiion is the weak link. Is this a franchise model? Not impressed and getting to locally placed adverts.

Decent clean; excruciating cost

This is a double-edged review: I'm trying to be fair. I recently got Thomas Cleaning to do a clean of a house I own but had just moved out of, in preparation for some tenants to move in - effectively an end-of-tenancy clean but at the other end!

Pros: Clean was done well, on relatively short notice. There were a couple of bits which, had this been a real end-of-tenancy, I would have probably got them back for, but I'm confident this would have been done with no trouble, as per their guarantee.

Cons: This is a big one - the price. An initial payment of £132 was taken from my account before the clean to cover three people for an hour and a half. The chap on the phone informed me that 'if they spend more time there, we will take the excess from your card'. I inferred from this conversation and the employee's manner that the £132 would be the majority of the cost. How wrong I was: another £214 was subsequently taken from my card. This clean, then, cost me £346 - pretty eye-watering. When I queried this with the company I was told that to clean this averagely sized, 4-bed, empty (and hardly heavily soiled!) house took 10.5 hours. I find this difficult to believe, to say the least, even factoring in the oven and inside windows. However, because the house was empty and I wasn't there I have no way of querying it.

In hindsight, of course, I ought to have been much more assertive as to likely cost and breakdown. Learn from my mistake, then: you will get a good clean overall, but by God will you pay for it if you're not careful. All things considered, £346 is far, far above what I believe to be reasonable for the service I received, and I can't help feeling somewhat taken advantage-of. I shan't be using them again.

Wouldn’t reccomend

Used this company on a number of occasions until on my return after a clean was completed I found an item broken and when reported it to them they denied all knowledge and refused to except responsibility despite it being obvious they were to blame. Poor communication when booking clean prior to this.
