Very disappointing service , first appointment was due to be an afternoon appointment , still had not arrived by 4.30 pm rescheduled for bank holiday Monday with promise would be first appointment 8.30/9 am still hadn’t arrived by 0950 so I rang office only to be told person would not be arriving for at least another two hours! . Expressed my disappointment that I had arranged my day around this and was offered a £20 discount which I refused as I was disappointed at the whole offer of service , , stay away if you want a reliable service where people turn up when they tell you they will

Very disappointed with the customer service on booking with this company.

They cancelled the booking on the day/time it was due to be done and offered to reduce this by £20.
Yet they would have charged myself the customer £50.00 or half of the booking value if I had cancelled less than 48hr notice.
This is very disappointing and unfair that they expect a customer to honour a 48hr cancellation or be charged £50 yet they will only refund £20 when their company has cancelled when appointment should actually of been started.

Stay well away and do not give them ur time or money.

Truly shocking and obviously a company that want to take as much as they can from a customer and are not willing to realise when they should be looking at a situation from a customer perspective.
Very very Poor management in place and being practised.

The owner of this business should look into the practices/ protocols in place and make some changes, maybe then you would have retained a regular customer who would have been voicing about how good this company is instead of how bad.

I booked Vulcan to deep clean and freshen an already clean and empty flat expecting trained technicians and professional equipment. Two lads arrived at 9.30 - an hour later than expected. They were not supervised and when I returned at 10.45 not much had changed. They said they weren’t qualified to clean the oven and when I checked, I was told they were doing a pre clean and to expect a technician in the afternoon. The technician arrived at 6pm and cleaned the oven. Carpets were cleaned with chemicals and a domestic hoover rather than washed or steamed as I had expected.
We were very disappointed with a basic end of tendency clean rather than the deep clean we expected. We paid the £499 because it was stipulated there would be a further charge of £25 after 5 days.

Had my oven and a bedroom carpet cleaned this morning by Dave. What a fantastic job he did. He was polite and quietly went about his work with minimum fuss. The results were phenomenal. The oven is literally just like brand new. The price was also extremely good value. Thanks Vulcan.

We had our oven cleaned by a young gentleman called Alistair. Very polite young man, very professional and did a great job. Would highly recommend this company and Alistair is a credit to them.

Joe cleaned my oven...he did an amazing job, it really does look like new.

I do not recommend booking carpet cleaning with this company. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided.

When I made the booking over the phone, I was assured that every area would be thoroughly dried during the service and that the entire carpet would be completely dry by the time the cleaner finished. However, to my surprise, the cleaner attempted to leave without drying anything at all. When I asked him about this, he called the office and accused me of lying, stating that I had never been informed that the carpet would be dried. I am aware that all calls are recorded, and I am confident that if they were to check the recordings, they would confirm that I was indeed told that the carpets would be fully dry before the cleaner's departure.

On their website, they state, ‘Our 360° airflow technology (dri-pods) releases warm air directly into the carpet to help speed up the drying process. Some cleaning services skip this step, leaving the customers carpets wet, which can cause mould spores. Spores grow in wet, cold and poor ventilated areas’ and ‘When the carpets are dry to touch, we will then inspect all areas cleaned. After, we discuss if the customer is happy with the finishing results and ask them if they would like to sign our form sheet’. They clearly don’t follow their own procedures, and I was certainly not happy when the cleaner left or asked to sign a form sheet to confirm this.

The cleaner very reluctantly put down the dri-pods for around 30 minutes; this was clearly an insufficient amount of time and a token gesture as the carpets were left very wet on his departure.

I am so disappointed with the service they provided and will need to book a service with a different provider as the smell has returned to how it was before the cleaning took place.

This is my second year using this company to clean my carpets before chrIstmas to freshen them up and they do an absolutely brilliant job , they come up like new and so clean and fresh and that’s good for us as we have 3 Rottweiler that mess the carpets up with every day wear and tear of them . lovely friendly staff I highly recommend them 5 star ⭐️

The booking process was easy. Toni gave loads of clear information via email and was quick to respond.

Carpet & oven cleaned was scheduled today. Alister called me 30mins before he arrived and once here was friendly, efficient and the job completed is fantastic! The oven is spotless and the carpet was dried before he left as he left fans on throughout to speed up the drying process.

Cannot recommend enough and will be using them again - thank you for great service ☺️

Needed a couple of carpets ( inc stair carpet ) cleaning and contacted Vulcan Hygiene to get this sorted.
First time ever using a professional carpet cleaning/hygiene company and i am well pleased that i did.
Everyone was pleasant from the lady at the other end of the phone when i first rang to the two lads that came and did a great job on my carpets.
Very professional and friendly, they arrived on time and quicky set about cleaning.
If i need anything else cleaning, i will ring this company first.
PS, a great price too !

Very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Oven, gob and extractor cleaned beautifully before we move home. Looks like new. Thank you Vulcan for such a professional job. Will definately book again in the future.

Cleaned the sofa and hallway carpet in my Airbnb after a bad renter spilt coffee and food over them. Great communication considering I was abroad and had to arrange everything remotely and it still went smoothly. Very good job. Decent price. Dependable. Will use again

Just had 2 ovens and a microwave cleaned in my new house today and I was so impressed with the fantastic customer service and the company’s professionalism. Everything is now spotlessly clean 😊 I would highly recommended Vulcan Hygiene to anyone!

Rang yesterday spoke to Ellie, very professional got me booked in next day for an oven cleaned and carpets cleaned, very reasonable prices came when they said they would, Kay was very thorough cleaning the oven very friendly and professional done an excellent job, Alistair cleaned the carpets and done an excellent job, both very friendly and professional, would highly recommend and will definitely use again, thanks for the excellent service.

Kay did a fantastic job of cleaning my oven, it looks brand new. She took the door apart and cleaned inside the glass. What a lovely lady, a pleasure having her in my home and very professional. Would definitely recommend this company and will be having them back every year.

Oven cleaned today, absolutely cracking job and it's back to brand new. Nice to see the same company also offer other services I am interested in so will definitely book again ;)
