The insurance only kick-in if they go bust which isn't helpful. If the new owner isn't going to do the repairs then going bust will help customers! No contact details on the guarantee either. Has anyone got a suggestion?

Avoid this Company at all costs
Avoid this Company at all costs. They have vacated their Throckley site and there is no sight of them at the supposed Jarrow location. It seems the connection to UTS has been broken. Also, seems they are out of business but look out for a return under a new name.Had major installation of windows and door last april 2022. Promised a team of 3 fitters. Got one only. Work seemed okay but then we had some strong winds. Serious draughts in several windows and the back door. After 30+ phone calls over 9 months still not fixed. Fobbed off with excuse after excuse. They are now suspended from the membership of Napit and Corgi who oversee their guarantees of quality and workmanship. So if you have a problem, your guarantee is worthless.
Unethical company
I contacted Warmseal as i had work done by them in the past, little did i know that the original Warmseal were no longer trading and that the present Warmseal were trading under the original Warmseal name.
I agreed to have all my windows replaced with new double glazed units supplied and fitted by Warmseal and new patio doors also supplied and fitted by Warmseal.
When i had this work carried out commencing 04/01/22 I was told by Warmseal a 3 man team would complete the job in 2 days, what a joke.
Never at any time did we have a 3 man team and the tradesmen that Warmseal sent to my house did not respect or care about my property and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage while carrying out their work, also in my opinion the glazing units supplied were sub standard to what we were accustomed to from the original Warmseal. Why would you get your glazing supplies from Northampton when there is a company with over 50 years experience hardly 5 miles from the workplace. Almost every double glazed unit had to be replaced (some more than once), because of cracks or scratches or other defects. One of the windows still has a crack or scratch but we have had enough and decided to live with it. The plasterers who were sent to do the finishing caused approx £2000 of damage to the wooden floors, and as they did not do a lot of the work around the windows using a spirit level some of the blinds do not close properly. Warmseal offered me a discount of £2500 to be deducted from the original quotation. The total amount of damage and defects to my property was estimated at £4000 but we accepted the £2500 just to draw the whole disgusting experience to a close. We finally received various certificates and documents on 06/11/22 some 10 month after the job had commenced and during this whole period of time there has never been a visit to our property by a management person. Do not be fooled as i was, the present Warmseal bears no resemblance to the original Warmseal. Should you employ this company i hope your experience is better than mine.

Have contacted Warmseal for clarification.

Disappointed
Atrocious company and atrocious customer service.
Warmseal are absolutely the worst company I have ever had dealings with. We had a replacement conservatory fitted by them with a warm roof and initially everything went well. However we had issues with the initial build which the workers had to put right on site (roof beams had been measured the wrong size). Since then we have had an issue with the plaster on the roof which has started to crack. We had two separate representatives from Warmseal out who both said it needed re-plastering as the joints hadn't been sealed correctly and they would report this back to the company. I have since been on the phone just about every week for the past 7 months trying to get them to fix it to no avail. I have been promised return phone calls which have never happened and lately I have been told that the site manager, Gerard Hiscock, has been sent numerous e mails from the reception staff asking him to contact me to remedy this but he has so far not bothered contacting me either by phone or e mail. Once this company has your money they are not interested in any form of customer service and any attempt to speak to someone who will take responsibility in dealing with it is met by deafening silence. Atrocious company and atrocious customer service. Use at your peril!
Big mistake going with warmseal
As with a previous reviewer, 1 star only because there is no option for zero. After getting 3 quotes from various companies went with warmseal, big mistake, windows and doors ordered on the 25th of February 2021, finally they started to fit them in September (delay due to covid) but that apart fitter started to fit bevels in the wrong way went I pointed this out was told that's the way that they are fitted, wrong, he did fit them the right way in the end, that in it's self should have had alarm bells ringing . From start to now dealing with this company has been a nightmare, various people have been out to look a numerous problems have taken photos, then the next time you speak to someone they don't seem to know what your talking about. Numerous other appointments have been made with the company to once again to show and discuss problems 4 times no one has arrived bearing in mind that we rearranged our time to accommodate these appointments. The product itself might been OK, the fitters are terrible, so in the end I have paid out good money for new windows and I have reconditioned ones for which I am holding back £2000.00 until all problems are resolved.

Top score
We bought a new build house from Persimmon Homes 4 years ago. The door they put on let in a draft (which they said was normal) and eventually broke to where we couldn't lock or open the door (actually found out by this company and another while getting prices that the frame was never right for the door). I got a recommendation to use Warmseal. They came out rather fast. And due to the safety aspect of the door not locking they got it fitted before Christmas. The fitter open and closed the door until it was perfectly closing. The quality of the door seems fantastic. It locks and keeps the heat in. Every time I have called the staff have been great. If I need more doors and even windows in the future they will get the call first.
1Star because there is no option for zero
My experience with this company has been terrible... Ordered the windows in January to be fitted in March. Took time off work for the install date, nobody turned up and nobody called to tell us?? Rearranged the date and whilst the install was happening realised 4 of the glass units were faulty. Date arranged to change the units, 3 were changed and on closer inspection were also faulty, 1 was left in the van as the fitters realised the unit was as bad or worse than the existing faulty unit ?? I spoke to the manager and asked if we could pay an agreed amount and cut ties as I had lost faith in the company and its products. The manager asked me for one more chance so he could prove it was a good company with good products. We never heard back from the company for 2/3 months (I was hoping they had forgotten about us). New manager, new install date, they sent one fitter to replace the 4 glass units, unfortunately 1 of the units was the wrong size and 1 hadn't been sent (even if it had been sent, 1 man would not have been capable of fitting it due to the size and weight). Remaining units were finally fitted and the bill was sent out. We spoke to the new manager, explained the problems and a small discount was given, I don't feel like it was enough but I just wanted to stop the pain of dealing with them. I will never use this company and would not recommend them to anyone.
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE! WORST COMPANY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT COMPLETE THE JOB. PROMISE THEY WOULD RETURN STILL WAITING 13 MONTHS LATE TO START THE REAR OF THE HOUSE
Avoid. One month since started a simple job and yet to be finished.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Installed patio doors a month ago and did a terrible job. Someone came back out over 2 weeks ago and has improved it but still waiting for the job to be finished off. Not getting anywhere with customer services. Useless. Avoid.

I would highly recommend Warmseal for anybody looking for windows and doors, as we got to choose from top of the range, the process from start to finish was plain sailing and the end result we are very happy with and we would use Warmseal again.

Appalling behaviour
I booked a visit for a rep to come to my home to give me a quote for double glazing. The man arrived and introduced himself. He asked if we would prefer it if he wore a mask, which we did. He put his mask on. That lasted about 5 minutes until he took it off as it was interfering with his talk. We then continued with a diatribe about pop music from the sixties, this before he even started measuring up. He did his measuring then continued with some more pop stories, this time, unbelievably, using foul language, including the F-word. The next day I called the Newcastle office to complain about this man. No one was available but I was promised he would ring back. That was over a week ago and I'm still waiting.
Gleaming Charcoal Windows
Warmseal windows have just fitted my windows and wow what a transformation they have made to my house. From quoting for the windows through to installation communication was spot on. The installers were very polite and left my house very tidy. I would 100% recommend them and will definitely be recommending you and purchasing my new door from you in due course.

About your reply you need to check contracts installed 2019 pre COVID otherwise complaint would have been sooner .... we were told membrane would deter infestation ... never recommend this company
Absolutely appalling customer service from these , never would recommend them to anyone for anything we have roofline fascia and drainpipes all replaced by them to avoid problem with wasps nesting , told the membrane the fit would stop invasion ,,,how wrong they were we even now after 30 years in the property having never had we have birds nesting in end ridges asked to be removed and they won’t even do that ..if I could do a minus rating that’s what they would get ...100%this work was carried out in 2019 and birdcombe???whatever it is was never mentioned in any pre installation meeting

Appalling aftercare
For 6 months now I’ve called regarding my faulty doors. 3 engineers have been out to confirm the doors need fixing and still no one has been to do the job. Daily I call to ask and daily no one gets back to me. Next step is Trading Standards as the service from Warmseal is totally unacceptable

New composite doors
I have just had back and front composite doors fitted by Warmseal and I absolutely love them! Chris and Anthony did a fantastic job, they were friendly, courteous and polite at all times. The floor was covered and protected before they started and everything was clean and tidy when they left. Thanks lads for a job well done and I have no hesitation recommending this company 100%

Horrible experience
Horrible experience, costing me a lot of money and leading to a delay of approximately seven months between first contact and installation. Partly my own fault, as I wasn't alert enough with Gavin, an unscrupulous Warmseal salesman. I strongly recommend you avoid them and use an honest, reputable company instead.
