I ordered a delightful pair of red…
I ordered a delightful pair of red boots, Fiona Ferrari Bootie size 42 after trying a pair sized 41 in my local department store. Wearing a pop sock at that time, they were just a tiny bit tight, maybe could have stretched a bit but wasn't prepared to pay that much for nipped toes if they didn't. I took a photo of said bootie plus box with size and ref details and ordered size up (42) from this company. Bit more expensive but the reviews were excellent. They arrived promptly , nicely wrapped. I tried to get them on, they could have been a completely different boot. Could barely squash my feet into them, never mind mince around the room! Checked size and defo size 42. Now I know EU sizes can be a bit variant whichever brand one is buying from but these boots were smaller than the original 41. No way on earth were they a size bigger. Now I have the privilege to pay £3.95 to be deducted off my refund for boots that don't fit. Quality control I think needs looking at here.
I now must add to my review that a delightful director personally rang me and explained the situation to my complete satisfaction. I can now understand how UK shoe sizes differ to EU with diffferent lasts.. On we go to look for some red boots.....I wanted these though lol they are gorgeous! Maybe I should try some foot binding??
