Booked taxi 3 days before required date which was 23.30 on the 18th of July we were contacted by text at 23.12 to say they were unable to locate me and to contact 001which l did only to be told l would have to wait half an hour, half an hour came and went so l rang again and was told again I would have to wait a further half an hour at 00.10 we cancelled the taxi as we desperately needed to get home, so my wife and l pensioners in our 70s walked half a mile to catch a bus, my son and a few neighbours checked there door cams to tell me no vehicles had come down there road between 22.30 and 23.12
Is this an acceptable service and do they deserve to be in a service which reliability is essential

We've used 001 Taxis five times in the last week, for visits to different hospitals. Very impressive. Very prompt to arrive. All the drivers friendly and helpful with my wheel-chaired Dad. Central call managers friendly and polite too. Wouldn't think of using any other taxi firm now.

I appreciated having Sandra, a lady driver - not that I have a single complaint about all the gentlemen who’ve taken me in the past. She was particularly helpful with my walker and delivered me right to the door of the house I was visiting.

Always on time, polite and the app works extremely well.

The journey i booked for my dad went well however there were problems with the new booking system that meant I had to call 3 times to confirm it. I wanted to make sure my dad had a reliable pick up because none of us could be there so these glitches they kept having with using the system did not fill me with confidence. Not sure how I feel about using them again. Something for the owners to reflect on with more focus perhaps.

Appalling service. Pre booked a taxi to take me to a wedding over 24 hours before. Received a confirmation text explaining that a driver would be with me at the desired time. 10 minutes before the driver was due to pick us up they cancelled leaving us to find an alternative and arriving late to the wedding. Do not use.
