Quick and efficient check-in and return procedures. Van clean and full of equipment. We had a fault on the first day, but we returned vehicle and was fixed promptly and without fuss.

Vehicle broke down on 2d day. 4 hour wait then 150 km tow in wrong direction. 1.5 day lost time on vacation.

We picked up our campervan from the Hobart office and were very happy with how the staff explained and showed all functions of the campervan to us. We were very confident after leaving the office that we would be able to handle the campervan

A fun way to explore - convenience and flexibility for our itinerary was great!

Fantastic from start to finish

Apart from a considerable wait to be shown the van, everything else was great.

Van was ready on time. Checking in on line was helpful and positive and staff were great. Pickup was easy with all options offered. The vehicle was reasonably clean and relatively equipped for our needs. Mechanically it was trouble free. Everything worked as was expected. We felt there could have been more utensils, plates, bowls, linen etc instead of just 2 of each item. The vehicle return process was a smooth and positive experience.

Received an upgrade to our van to include shower/toilet and aircon and am glad we did. Due to a flight change we had to pick up the van a day late and on arrival our van was not ready to depart. Questioned and was offered drop and go on completion of our trip which worked well.

Feedback on Our Campervan Holiday Experience:
The overall experience was great and we had a memorable campervan holiday trip. However, we would like to share the following feedback for improvement:
The staff member (an oriental lady whom we met on 2nd May during vehicle collection) appeared impatient and did not provide a proper handover of the vehicle. She repeatedly mentioned that she had other customers to attend to, although there were no other physical customers waiting at that time. Her body language and attitude did not reflect good customer service standards. This feedback is shared in the hope that she can improve her future interactions with Apollo Motorhome customers, as first impressions are very important to any company.
The campervan was quite shaky, noisy, and vibrated a lot during the journey. Unfortunately, this affected the overall comfort and smoothness of the ride.
On a positive note, we returned the vehicle on 11th May and met a very friendly staff member. This was commendable and made the return process comfortable and pleasant for us.

Our experience with Apollo was great from start to finish. The service was fast, efficient and everyone we dealt with were super helpful, friendly and polite. The camper was also great. It was fitted out with everything we needed for a week along the Victorian Great Ocean Road and was so easy to drive and set up, not to mention very comfortable to sleep in. Thanks for a great holiday!

We hired a 2 person camper for a 3 week tour of both islands. We changed our plan to collect and return it to Auckland whilst on route, and changed to return it to Christchurch, with no issues, just amendment fee.

There were no issues, and we were very impressed with the service both in Auckland, and returning it to Christchurch, where Pierre was very pleasant and efficient to deal with.

We were first time campervan hirers, so nothing to compare with, but in general pick was good. We spent a while trying to get our Android phone to acquire blue tooth, but it wasn't possible. Later we bought another cable but it still wouldn't work so we think it was the van connection.

Pick up and drop off was easy and stress free. Very close to the airport - short uber ride.
Motor home worked well for 2 adults and 2 children. Only negative was how uncomfortable the bed mattresses are. It felt like laying on slab of timber and when we converted the lounge to a bed, it was really dirty. A lot of dust behind the cushions and other people's hair. One pillow each that is very thin and not comfortable. I would take my own next time.
Apart from the bed, the kitchen and layout was great for us.

great vehicle, excellent induction, cleanliness of vehicle on collection, hospitality at the thl depot.

The list of issues the needed fixing are as follows.
- Hot water did not get hot , no shower or hot water to wash up
-The stove top only had one burner that works.
- the side sliding door will not open
- toilet door jams
- chip in windscreen on driver's side.
- we have been given a vehicle with a bald tire that has been changed for the spare. So we don't have a safe spare tire .

We had three visits to a mechanic which had wasted our holiday time.
We have paid $10k and taken out full insurance with roadside assistance and we are still had no resolution after 10 days.

There was not sink plug which we have replaced ourselves

The electric heater did not work so we have purchased another at our cost.

We were rushed through the handover at Christchurch and didn't get to see a condition report until after we left the branch.

We were told that this vehicle was an upgrade however we feel it is not it is a lemon.

We are extremely unhappy for our loss of enjoyment of our holiday experience.

We had a great trip. The vehicle allowed a to be independent and to search out places other than the main highly visited popular locations.

Our only suggestion is to add usb connection points inside the vehicle for charging phones etc on the go and not have to wait until we were on powered sites.

Other than that - great. Can highly recommend the camper.
