Non existent Rondel Trainer
I was sent an Email by Cols Steel, saying that their Rondel Training dagger was back in stock. Following the link lead me to a page saying that I couldn't order it as it wasn't in stock. I tried several times over the next few days with the same result.
I then Emailed Cold Steel and explained what had happened. Their answer was that they must have sold out again.
I have since been in touch with several companies who stock Cold Steel's products, all of which had the Rondel Trainer on back order & they all reported that despite getting new Cold Steel stock, the Rondel was not amongst it.
I can understand emails being sent out by mistake - no one is perfect, but why bother lying in a reply to a prospective customer?

Initially I thought that the stock came in and then went back out again and that you weren't quick enough.
But on checking the stock figures, we've not had that dagger in since December.
I'll flag this with IT for them to investigate, as you shouldn't have had an email telling you it was in stock. Unless of course you were talking about an email back in December?

Excellent service
I wanted one of the original style of drop-forged CS knives, ideally the bowie or boot knife. It seems that only the boot knife was likely to become available, so I registered my interest and was pleased to receive an email stating that they were in stock. I bought one and it arrived promptly with no fuss. Excellent service and the knife was exactly what I expected. Well done!
