I came into your Gateshead Branch to purchase a roof top tent oex 130 lite and asked for a demo and the baldy guy on the stall opposite could not give me a demo or give me any information on its fold up operation . he was clearly not interested and kept his attention on his little iPad and the stall section he was on , when asked for a second opinion and for some one with more info he said there was no one that could help - complete waste of time I wish I had never renewed my card customer service was shite -however I purchased my roof tent and awning from else where so they lost a good sale for over £1000 there loss

Ordered next day delivery (paid extra) but item was delivered 4 days later. Have reached out as want to return the item but I’m not happy to pay the delivery charge and no response!

I found the products I wanted on the Go Outdoors website, and needed them quickly so paid extra for next day delivery. Despite offering next day delivery, Go Outdoors failed to process the order in time and the order was not actually with the courier until after the promised delivery date. So I had to do a click and collect at a competitor to get similar products in time for my trip.

I then had to return my late Go Outdoors order, which was far from easy. Despite claiming the return was paperless with a QR code, twice Go Outdoors provided me with a printable label and barcode, which the courier drop shop could not scan. So I then had to go to a local library to print off the label and try again with the courier. Thankfully the items were returned safely to Go Outdoors and I have now received my refund.

However, I wasted a lot of time, effort and money trying to resolve what should have been a simple return. As well as multiple phone calls on hold to Go Outdoors, I endured unnecessary costs on fuel and printing. As a gesture of goodwill, I would like a refund for these extra costs.

Going forward, if Go Outdoors cannot fulfill a next day delivery, they should not offer it. Likewise with “printer free returns”. Disappointing service all round.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Great choice of products, prices good for Go outdoors Card holders. Online needs tweeted, online saying card expired when it wasn't. Checked in store and was told it was a glitch in New system. Was told although I had set up a Card in store I needed to Set up an online account!

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to Saffron who was so helpful during my shop, when I visited the store on the 3rd of Sept. I would also like to thank Alana who I could not thank enough for all that she did for me. Alana not only went the extra mile, but exceeded that. Alana was so helpful in so many ways, I was blown away by her kindness. Both Saffron and Alana are a real credit to your store. Thank you both xxx

Ordered a tent online, really easy, it wasn't avaliable for local collection soon enough so set for delivery and it was sorted, nice, quick and easy

Always great value at go outdoors

I was looking for a new rucksack, I'd been advised to try GoOutdoors. The selection was well laid out but I was concerned with capacity and versatility of materials
I enquired to a couple of staff for help
Enter Nathan and Emmanuel;
They explained the pros and cons clearly; encouraged me to inspect the available choices
All the while respecting my comments
It felt a triumph when selecting my rucksack and both Nathan and Emmanuel were essential to that decision and I feel they should be recognised

Jonathan couldn’t have been more helpful, advising not only on the likely problems of my old boots but options for new boots across the price range.
