I found an old camera at home, and it still had the film in it. I popped into the Meadowhall store where Charlie kindly removed the film and sent it off for it to be developed. He was professional, fr... See more

Purchased a Kase Black Mist Filter on offer for £35 off the RRP. As anyone who knows these products it is very rare to find one so heavily discounted. The whole ordering process from Jessops was very easy and the product arrived promptly the following day. Excellent service thank you
Not only are Jessops very competitively priced, their customer service is brilliant.
Unfortunately one item in my order was faulty (no fault of Jessops). They replied quickly to emails, and arranged collection of the faulty item from my work address during the week, and delivery of the replacement to my home address on a Saturday. Faulty item collected on Thursday and replacement delivered just 2 days later.
Delivery both times was really fast.
I would absolutely buy again from Jessops.

It was excellent. I knew I had come in for a small camera & I particularly like Nikon (having got a Coolpix P950). However there wasn’t a small Nikon available but she showed me a Sony which she recommended and she did it in such a thorough way I bought it - and I’m pleased she convinced me to get it. I’ll be taking it away with me in a week’s time but will get used to using it in the meantime.

Having ordered a new camera I had to contact Customer Services to find out when I would be receiving the item. My email was responded to on the same day I sent it and Raphael who dealt with my enquiry told me I had ordered the colour choice which actually wasn't in stock and offered to change it to another colour which was in stock. My bad, I thought I had ordered a colour choice which was in stock, colour wasn't important to me and so Raphael changed the order for me. This was all dealt with very swiftly and I later got an email to say my order was expected with the delivery company. This is Customer Service at it's best. Thank you Jessops, and a special shout out to Raphael!

Stocked a difficult to find lens. Priced reasonably (basically RRP), but had a discount voucher advertised on the site. A little slow to get the item dispatched.
Customer services not very responsive via email, but live chat was good.

I ordered an A7V camera with 20mm lens - both were in stock. The body arrived on the monday after having ordered the fridat which was excellent.
The lens was not in the box but the delivery note suggested it should have been. I then called the customer service department and they told me the lens would be a further seven to ten days.
I then emailed the customer service manager. 12 hours later I still have no communication. no idea when the lens will arrive. I am having to chase on their website chat with still zero idea when the lens will turn up.
Unbelievably bad. So disappointed when the in store service was exceptional. Which I experienced the week before when I purchased my first A7V camera and lens, so impressed with the camera, I wanted another and wanted to use Jessops.
What a shame I will never shop online with them again and makes me resentful to purchase instore.

This is my first time ever dealing with Jessops. I knew from the name it was a big brand when it comes to cameras. I also knew it was founded by Peter Jones from Dragons Den. What I didn't know is how my expectations for this company were immediately shattered by poor communication from the York Store and online. I was all set to visit the York store today, but five days ago emailed the store to enquire about the cameras condition. I still have not received any reply. However, during that time I decided to go for a canon camera on their website which last night was advertised on a big discount, along with a further discount of 5 percent off. I was at the basket with the price, all set to purchase. I then decided to wait till the morning. Hold and behold, the 5 percent discount vanished. I then asked whether they would honour this via their chat. Someone said they would get back to me and they didnt. I then contacted back again, and guess what. They remove the entire offers. None of these offers were clearly advertised to let me know when they expire. They seem to make them up on flash sales whenever they see fit, and not give customers clear visibility on when they expire. I even emailed the CEO Peter Jones and never got any follow up from is management. My entire experience is a complete let down and ive never been so disappointed because I knew Jessops as a name is big, and never expected a service this poor and inconsistent. They said they cannot honour both discounts. Also just to add, they also refused to provide me a shutter count last week, which is very poor customer service. They eventually did when my dad asked, but from my experience, the service has been abysmal from start to finish and now ill shop elsewhere.

Excellent from start to finish. Didn't downgrade offer and gave a very good offer. Payment was fast and flawless.
