Not trustworthy. Avoid!

I ordered a vertical climber. Delivery address in Germany. I informed them begin of August that my shipment was stuck according to DPD's tracking information. I asked them weekly for an update and they always replied that the investigation is in progress. After 4 weeks I asked them to prove that they are actually in contact with DPD and what DPD was saying so far. They never replied to that. Two weeks later they wrote that the shipment got lost. The DPD tracking still shows "Shipment in progress". I find it hard to believe that DPD either did not reply to them for 6 weeks and then just closed the case with "shipment lost".

Bought item, nothing happened, chased company and they suddenly told me the item had been dispatched and gave me a tracking code for delivery. Parcel mysteriously never reached delivery firm, and they won’t refund after a month as they are still investigating. Please avoid, trying hard not to suggest they are crooks but it is appearing that way now.

no need to speak to Jessica again, as I’ve already heard from her (on the same dayas the above review) confirming they won’t refund despite me not receiving the item.

Avoid!!

Avoid!!! still waiting for a refund after purchasing not one, but two kayaks that they were advertising, yet didn’t have!! Still waiting for £117 to be reinstated Avoid, avoid, AVOID!!

Avoid at all cost!!

Avoid at all cost!!! I ordered a swimming pool! Firstly was given incorrect tracking numbers!! Then a box arrives with only the poles in!?!? No pool or filter as described!?! Have tried to call but was on hold for 2 hours!! To then have whoever was at the other end to cut me off!?! Have messaged on fb! No reply! And sent an email! No reply!?!
I am so unbelievably cross as this pool was for my daughters birthday pool party tomorrow!! So will have 20 children turning up in swimming costumes and no pool!!!! And if like I have read on other reviews the response from just athlete says they ship in 2 parts!?! Then why is there such a huge gap in between delivery’s! And where is my tracking for the second part!?! And why does it not state this on the website that delivery is in 2 parts!?!?!
Terrible company do not use!!

If I’m being brutally honest avoid this…

If I’m being honest best to avoid this place !! I ordered a pool on the 9th July which was stating same day dispatch and didn’t mention it would be from Netherlands, it finally arrived this yesterday after being told last week it had been delivered when all that was delivered was an inflatable toy, I’ve received so many fake tracking numbers and going by the last review I think we are sharing the pool haha I have the pool but no frame. I have emailed them several times since yesterday asking are they coming separate and been ignored but was replied to same day until the heap of rubbish arrived at my door and like the previous ladies review my box was opened and stuck again with tape. Luckily I paid through PayPal so will have no issues getting my refund but I feel bad for anyone giving card details these people.

******UPDATE****
If this is the case I will have no problem removing the review but as it stands it’s 3 days later and still no reply you can have replied to the email and stated that 3 days ago when I emailed to ask, it’s pretty bad customer service when you would rather reply to a negative review that a paying customers email query

****FURTHER UPDATE****

After being advised the poles would be delivered separately it’s has been a further week since first box arrived and still no poles surprise, surprise I was given a tracking number that didn’t work Have contacted Hermes who updated me today to say it won’t be delivered like ever and I must contact the sender haha I’m not even playing this game anymore I’m away to PayPal to open the dispute and claim my refund wasted enough time on this now

Justathlete admittedly say a few day…

Justathlete admittedly say a few day for a confirmation email and a week after the it should arrive in the uk ... all that was bang on been 4 weeks now and hermes in the uk have messed the delivery up and lost the item every time I have any thing from hermes it goes wrong .... so if ur ordering to the uk and there using hermes I wouldn't bother

Fraudulent company - DO NOT USE!

I've never written a review about a company before but felt it important due to the horror that is just athlete... After ordering a pool for 'same day dispatch' and chasing a number of times it finally arrived two weeks later. Went to assemble with 5 very excited children having waited 2 weeks to eagerly play in their new pool, only to discover that the box (already opened and sellotaped back up) was missing a kind of essential part....the pool liner. All that was delivered was the actual frame of the pool - £275 down for a bunch of metal poles! The filter was also missing, so all in all one complete rip off and 5 absolutely heartbroken children - they are too young to understand there are so many bad people in this world that do bad things for money. I've requested a refund, no way am I waiting 2 weeks for a refund. I will be reporting this company to trading standards and visa for Fraud.

1 week delivery is now over 2 weeks and…

1 week delivery is now over 2 weeks and I still don't have it, no acceptable service from customer services. Do not order from these.

Refund without explanation

Paid money. Got refund with no explanation as to why I wasn't getting goods. If I'd read reviews I wouldn't have wasted time. Looks like I've been lucky to get money back. I used PayPal so maybe that's why! No bank card details given!

Good experience, 6 working day turn around

Despite all the bad reviews, I have had a good experience with Just Athlete. I order a swimming pool on Sunday 9pm, so you could say from Monday, on the Tuesday I checked in with Jessica to ensure that item was in stock. It was and already on its way. On Thursday I received my tracking number from Hermes, on Saturday it arrived in the UK. This evening Tuesday evening (6 working) days my pool has arrived. Very pleased and Jessica was very helpful, thank you. Just need to put up pool and enjoy!!

Avoid at all costs, appears to me a scam website

I purchased a swimming pool. The website stated same day dispatch if ordered before 5pm. I contacted them to ask whether it had been sent, they said should be "today or tomorrow" bearing in mind if paid approximately £8 for fast delivery.

I requested a refund and opened a PayPal dispute. They sent me a fake screenshot of a refund and have not refunded me - this usually shows up immediately on PayPal by closing the dispute and issuing a refund.

They have ignored all my messages since. They are not based in the UK and pretty sure it's a scam website.

In response to the the company reply below;
They claimed to have refunded me. No refund has been issued. The screenshot sent to me does not reflect any refund given and a PayPal dispute is currently still open.

Looks like scam

You shouldn't buy from them if you're in UK. When I made my order it said I'll get it next day and nothing about shipping from Netherlands. Looks like a scam. Fortunately I've been refunded straight away when I cancelled my order and the payment was still outstanding.

Bad experience. Do not recommend

It took them a week to post my order. Courier in UK was given incorrect delivery address which meant the item was not delivered. Customer service team did not help and was quite rude.

Save yourself hassle buy elsewhere

I would not recommend buying anything from this company. I ordered a paddling pool which was showing as in stock on the website (a .co.uk website). On the confirmation email I was advised it would be shipped from the Netherlands. I emailed the company to check delivery times and was told that it would be shipped in 1-2 days and take a further week for delivery. This time came and passed and no item arrived. After many emails back and forth saying it should go out for delivery in 1-2 days they finally admitted it was out off stock and simply cancelled the order and refunded it. In other words they sell things they don’t actually have and the customer service is poor. No doubt the company will reply with some excuse but as you will see from the other reviews I am not alone in the poor service offered.

Reply to reply. Thank you Jessica. With regards to knowing it is shipped from the Netherlands I appreciate that you advise you are a dutch company on your contact us page. Perhaps this could be more transparent on your home page or product pages as when you order something online from a .co.uk company you generally only visit the contact us page if there is a problem. On your second point if you do not have the stock in your own warehouse and are dependent on it arriving from another company you may want to Mark it as not in stock until you actually have it or confirmation you are receiving it from your wholesaler in the coming days shipment as reading your other reviews I see this is a common issue.

Ordered a bike lock

Ordered a bike lock. Eventually received an item which was totally the wrong item. Contacted customer services who responded quickly with offer of money back or correct item. Opted for correct item and since then have heard nothing. Have emailed and filled in contact form but no response.

Have received a response to the review asking me to contact customer services. My point is that I have done that on 21st and 22nd of June but no reply.

Don’t if you think your stuff will arrive in a couple of days

Hey.
I ordered two items on the Justathlete.dk site saying that in 1 or 2 days your parcel will be sent...I needed the parcel 10 days later (at the latest) and thinking that 10 days should be enough for shipping in total, I was wrong. The first 4 days nothing happened and for the next 2 days the package was in transit - now I need the package the day after tomorrow (a confirmation party) and I figure that it will not show up in time, as it is stil in Holland...!...what on earth i going on?
Why trick people into thinking that they will receive their order in time, when its not at all possible? Why note that it will be sent in 2 days if it takes 12 days to deliver from then? I could have paid 50dkr more on a REAL .dk site and have gotten my stuff in time (2days delivery).
I really resent foreign companies lying and cheating to make a few euros making us think that they are all good...now I have to go buy the needed stuff in a physical store in DK, because I was fooled by Justathlete.dk - a “non-at-all-DK-website”.
Sorry I trusted in you!
The worst thing is that I will have to return the goods when they arrive and then “spend” the double amount of transport-CO2 on my experience with justathlete.dk...
Either be more professional or stay in countries where you can perform!

I am a 69yr old man who suffered a…

I am a 69yr old man who suffered a stroke in Jan 2021. Part of my ongoing rehab was to use a light Tornado medicine ball and since they are very expensive, I ordered a Sveltus Medbal Sling - BlackSKU: ASI1753IEX from Justathlete. They took my money £24.68p from my account but failed to send me my purchase. That amount of money may not be a large sum for them , but as a pensioner, It mean a week food money for me. They told me a pack of lies about delays and refund. I blame myself for being scammed because i should have read their reviews before entering into a sales contract with them. SCAM or SCUM....you choose because both words are very descriptive of them. Greedy low life with pit latrine principles.

Poor customer service

I purchased a kayak from this company only to notice on arrival there was a hole on the base. When I reported it to just Athlete they told me I had to deal with the manufacturer directly. Terrible customer service.
