SCAMMERS BE AWARE
0 is the rate they should get! Scammers! They drive your car while you away and they cover themselves in T&C they love your car between compounds so you set the ULEZ for autopay! Moving my car 2 days after collecting! And on collection my car broke down 5 miles away from the airport! Disgusting rude behaviour!
Don’t book! They not cheap they are scammers! With the extra plus penalties you will pay a fortune ! Never ever again !
BE AWARE SCAMMERS THST SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRADE!!!!!
Scam company
They didn’t even turn up to collect my vehicle. Phoned various times didn’t answer vm box was full. Awful company should not be trading definitely avoid.
Car damaged
My car was scratched and absolutely filthy when returned. Before I left LHR, they told me to email photos of the scratches yet to date, they have ignored my emails. I should not have let them go without taking some personal details from the driver but he was completely unwilling to discuss it or even to hang around. Not to be trusted - please avoid and use a reputable firm such as Maple Parking. Also very slow to pick up and return the vehicle (45 mins). They also make you pay the short stay parking charge which is an extra £15. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Poor poor poor
Poor poor poor. Late to pick up so risked missing flight then on return, while having all flight details and could see 30min delay I then was told 1 hour, then turned into 1hour 15mins when called for a time. Poor comms and seemed not to care. Showed good reviews on compare your parking so will not use them again either. Do not use!!!
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. Late collection.
Significant delay in drop off by 1 hour 15 mins.
Poor engagement.
Lack of awareness.
Would not recommend.
Use these people at your peril
Anyone reading these reviews will soon see this company is not to be trusted. On reflection, we got away lightly - we only had to wait 1.5 hours to pick up the car, the car wasn't damaged but I wouldn't use these people if they were free. I've done some research on this and the whole car parking meet and greet at Heathrow is a minefield. Lets deal with this mob first
1) Indigo car parking and Kar Parking Heathrow are one and the same. There was a genuine Indigo car parking operation which has been rebranded so I guess they are trying to piggy back on that
2) The website for Kar Parking seems to have been taken down. If you do find it, check out the photo they show of their secure parking. Its a photo of an American car park
3) The 2 compare sites are now showing Indigo and Kar Parking as having Park Mark accreditation. If you check out the Park Mark web site it does indeed show that Kar Parking have 2 sites listed but we all know that there is no guarantee that this is where your car will end up.
4) The registered office (on the web site) for Kar Parking doesn't exist
On the face of it we just have a dubious operation that isn’t shy about misrepresenting who they are.
But it’s a bit more than this. There seems to be a tie in with 2 "compare" sites compareyourcarparking.co.uk and comparethecarparking.co.uk. They both have very similar site layouts and promote the same companies but the only difference I can see is that compareyourcarparking shows a registered company number. Both sites show identical customer reviews for each car park operator. All of it is just too similar to be a coincidence. What’s clever is that anyone searching for a genuine car park operator will be heavily influenced by an “independent” compare site, well 2 in fact, who’s positive reviews bear no resemblance to reality.
These 2 compare sites are now showing Indigo and Kar Parking as having Park Mark accreditation. If you check out the Park Mark web site it does indeed show that Kar Parking have 2 sites listed but we all know that there is no guarantee that this is where your car will end up. They are 2 small sites with a max combined capacity of 130 cars – most of the other dedicated sites on the Park Mark website have capacity in the hundreds. So if they do run out of capacity it’s a good bet your car will end up on a public highway somewhere, as mine did.
The conclusion on this is that these people charge a fraction of what reputable organisations charge. They are clearly not relying on repeat customers and they probably have much lower overheads (I would love to see evidence of their drivers and public liability insurance) But they have been very clever to tie their operations in to a couple of compare sites to give it an air of respectability. Check out the reviews for these compare sites and you will get the same responses of lousy customer service, abuse of vehicles and many tales of misery.
Its true, there are a few positive comments but I'm always suspicious of reviewers who have submitted just one review and taken the time and trouble to do it for a car park never mind a compare site,
There are genuine operators out there but check them out carefully. If the don't give any details of who actually owns them I would give them a wide berth.
***DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY** AVOID AT…
***DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY** AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!
This is not a meet and great company. You are charged the actual car parking charges when you drop your car off in the short stay at heathrow and when you collect it. Thats £7.50 extra each time which is not made clear when you initially book.
Driver took 30 minutes to collect the car then 40 to drop it off. This is not a meet and great service and is some cowboy outfit.
THEY ALSO DISCONNECTED MY CARS DASH CAMERA SO GOD KNOWS WHERE THEY PARKED THE CAR.
Absolutely awful; 90mins wait and lies
Absolutely awful. Zero stars. Arrived, collected luggage and called to be told that wait would be 40-50mins (not the 20-30mins advertised). After waited 50mins I called to check to be told (a lie) that my car was on its way. This was a complete lie, as I would later find. Eventually, after 3 more calls, my car arrived after 85-90mins waiting !! Each time I called I was told (a lie) that the car was "just a few minutes away" and then I would wait 15mins, call again, and be told another lie. I know it was a pre-meditated lie as the driver delivering my car I saw delivering another car (a red hatchback, to a 3-person family) just as the dispatcher on the fone first told me that my car was on its way (which it could have been, if my driver was just delivering another car... and still needed to get back to base, get in my car, and then drivve it to me). Its awful that I had 3 children under 6 waiting 90mins after a 12hr flight, but its even worse to be repeatedly lied to by the dispatcher. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR PROMISE, AND THEY LIE.
I cannot believe this company is still…
I cannot believe this company is still trading. My car interior was damaged/broken, there was mud on the front seat and was driven about 100 miles in one week. The guy was running around like headless chicken and lost the parking ticket. The worst company, please do not use them. Also, it is very important to note that I am trying to take this company to small claims court but could not find any information about this company on companies house which means they are not registered so they will runaway/disappear in case of any damages.
HONESTLY THE WORST COMPANY TO EVER…
HONESTLY THE WORST COMPANY TO EVER EXIST. THEY ARE COMPLETELY USELESS. 2 HOUR WAIT. EXCUSES. NEVER USE.
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE
I wish a I had seen all the other reviews before I booked.
Poor service I can tolerate, but I have received a ULEZ fine for the day before I arrived back to LHR and the company have not replied to my repeated contacts.
I will take this further if a resolution is not reached soon as this cannot be legal.
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE. You have to pay parking ticket both on arrival & departure. Over 40 minutes late picking up the car even though 1/2 hour notice given as instructed which resulted in higher car park charge. I called at 1.23pm on arrival after picking up our bags as instructed. The car turned up at 14.45. Absolutely shocking. I’ll be contacting trading standards as this is not a Meet and Greet service.
AVOID!!!
AVOID!!!! Totally unprofessional, rude and dishonest cowboys!
We did everything per instruction only to be fobbed off or ignored when dropping our car off and collecting!!
To avoid a stressful experience do not use at all costs! Pay the extra and use a reputable company.
A disgraceful bunch of dishonest cowboys
Fully agree with all other other 1* reviews.
This shower of incompetent, dishonest cowboys should be put out of business.
On returning to LHR T3 we were told by phone to go to the Short Term Car Park Level 4. After an hour searching, and further phone calls, we eventually found our car on Level 3.
It gets worse - we were told that the key was on top of the driver-side tyre. It wasn't, and crawling under the car (I'm 75) failed to find it. Luckily we had a spare key with us, so over 2 hours after landing we were able to leave, having had to pay excess parking charges.
It then cost me £235 to have a new key programmed and cut.
Numerous phone calls and comments on their website have been ignored.
Don't even think about using them, and tell all your friends to avoid them at all costs.
Be warned - do not use!
Be warned - do not use this company!
They are not a professional meet and greet company, but seemingly a one man operation with a couple of drivers. We called 30 minutes before arriving at Heathrow only to be told we were too early and that we would have to wait for a driver. After waiting at the airport for a half an hour we were told the driver would be there in 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes. This was very stressful as our departure time was getting very near.
Eventually turned up about 1 hour and a half after phoning.
This process was repeated when we returned to the airport to collect our car.
The drivers don't want to listen to your complaints and seem embarrassed to be working for this company.
Also, as others have pointed out you will have to pay for the time your car is in the car park waiting!
They obviously do not track flights and just try to find a driver when you call - completely useless, this is in breach of trading standards as it is most definitely not a meet and greet service, more a phone and wait service!
Dubious
Drop off great. Upon return my dash cam had been disabled, why??? Driver just gave me the keys, did not check I was the owner, didn’t ask for paperwork, he just walked off. I could have been anybody!
Great service
Great service - we were on the wrong level when we called to drop our car off at LHR and the driver told us not to worry and he would come and find us, handover was great - when we returned from our trip - we were called and advised our car would be waiting - we were a little later than expected due to waiting for our luggage but the driver was waiting and handover was good,
Our friends who we were with booked with another company and had to wait for 30 mins before driver came to collect their car - on their return their car was left with the keys on the wheel arch - they have made a complaint against the company
Would use Kar Parking again
Really really poor on both drop off and…
Really really poor on both drop off and pick up. Avoid using this lot, the reviews don't lie
If waiting 50 mins for your car on…
If waiting 50 mins for your car on return is your kind of thing then these guys will suit you. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend.
Awful service - Please do not use!!
Please do not use!!
Departure - Was waiting 45 minutes for them to pick up car, not ideal if running slighly late, then had £11 to pay to get them out of carpark. Car was first parked at Rodney Way (Council Estate) and then moved to UB35HF Shortlands, niether secure areas.
On arrival, after baggage a further 40 mins dealy after call, for vehcile to be returned. On return driver just walked off without checking who I was, stating key and ticket was in the car. He was either embarrassed or just used to suppying a very poor service. Another £7.50 to get out of car park. Between parking and collecting I had read these reviews so was just relived to get my car back in one piece.
I am surprised Heathrow let companies like this operate
