QC vs Met - Case Discontinued Before Trial

QC vs Met. E London Magistrates.

I highly recommend this law firm, especially my case worker Paul and advocate lawyer Richard, for their exceptional service. After consulting several firms, I intuitively chose this one, a decision that proved to be immensely beneficial. Paul's professional and genuinely caring approach in managing my case led to its discontinuation before trial. Richard, who brilliantly handled my first court hearing, was instrumental in navigating through the process smoothly. Their expertise not only provided legal excellence but also spared me from a potential 24-month ban. Moreover, because my case didn’t go to trial, I am now looking at getting 70% of my court fees back. I am deeply grateful for their dedication, which brought about a significantly positive outcome.

Drink driving charge. case dismissed in court

I can highly recommend NML. I had David Houldcroft and his wife represent me in court today. I was facing a 18 month ban. David went above and beyond to find faults with the police and CPS. The magistrates even said they were embarrassed with how the CPS hadn’t done what they needed to before todays trial hearing. There was not enough evidence to convict me. And they DISMISSED my case.
David and his wife made me feel at ease whilst waiting to go in to court. I’d give 10 stars if I could. The costs were definitely worth it. I’d definitely advise to request David houldcroft as a representing lawyer. You can tell David loves his job and helps his clients the best he can. I can’t thank him enough. He’s AMAZING 🤩

Customer care

Besides the fact that they do everything and more they say they can. A lady named Louise is super helpful beyond understanding there was no problem she couldn’t solve.

Failure to provide a specimen - there is hope!

I was charged with failing to provide a specimen, back in August 2022 and after three court dates (two vacated, through no fault of our own) today my representing solicitor David Houldcroft managed to get my case dismissed by the magistrates, on the grounds of the police losing the mouthpiece.

I’m absolutely over the moon and would definitely urge you to request David Houldcroft to represent your case. Not only is he very thorough and fantastic at what he does, you can also tell he absolutely loves his job and is a lovely man, who made me feel at ease with his jokes and humour from the outset. Shout out to his wife Nikki also, who was beyond lovely and also made me feel at ease. Thank you both so much!

Thank you also to Sandra Cooper and Louise my caseworker, who did all the work in the background and gave updates via email, as and when new information was available. So don’t expect constant communication as they only get in touch with any updates or when fees are due.

Thanks NML x

National Motoring Lawyers have…

National Motoring Lawyers have supported me and communicated clearly throughout the entire year it took to get my entire case DISMISSED. I genuinely cannot thank William, my caseworker, Laura Heywood and Jay Lamosa for their unwavering support through this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unsure and reading reviews, this is the law firm you should use. Their fees are clearly laid out; the only changes to cost are external. Thank you all so much.

SCAM COMPANY

SCAM COMPANY
This company does not care about the outcome of your case it is purely about how much money they can scam you out of.
National motoring lawyers messed my case up from the beginning and have been adding excessive additional charges on regularly for all the unnecessary court appearances as I was advised to go non guilty which ended up causing me more court costs, Solicitor costs and negatively affected my sentencing aswell as I incurred extra costs, fines and a longer ban and community service. My first sentencing appearance the solicitor didn't turn up so that was adjourned and I had to pay for another court appearance plus the costs of the no show court costs.
The day before my 2nd sentencing I was told they didn't have a solicitor available, despite this being booked for 3 months and them being aware of this so they harassed me non stop and charged me an extra £240 for a "silver" solicitor. I would have been better off going with a duty solicitor and going guilty from the beginning.

Fantastic Service Offering and Case Dismissed

In November 2023, I had my drink driving case dismissed by NML. The original offence occurred in May 2023 and NML were able to get the final hearing postponed until November 2023 due to work travels and then get the case dismissed. The service offering has been fantastic over the past seven months with constant communication with my case worker and great behind the scenes work making sure that all the evidence was presented correctly and received. From start to finish the service offering has been great and their receptiveness has been amazing, even when I was operating in a different time zone. The accounts team stays on top of items and the caseworker is in direct communication with the solicitor/lawyer that will attend your hearings. I am grateful for the service they provided and would recommend to anyone who has any motoring issues. Just as a quick overview at the beginning they take in depth summary of what occurred to get your perspective/overview and then get to work post the initial hearing collecting evidence and equipping you and lawyer with the best rebuttal points. The team appears to be seasoned and experienced in this field. Just to summarise, I would definitely recommend NML to people I know and those reading.

I inquired with several other solicitors firms before settling on using National Motoring Lawyers. NML was very through, professional and handled my case like clock work. Despite all the odds were stacked up against me they got all the charges dropped and claimed my legal fees. Highly recommended.

IT IS NOT CHEAP BUT IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT

My experience with national motoring lawyers was a great experience I was in a bad situation and they solved it for me I will be honest and say there communication is not the best most of time I would only get emails for invoices but every time I went to court they would send me a summary of what happened but overall they did there job and I managed to keep my licence and win in what was a hopeless case. I would like to say a big thanks to PAUL LUCAS & DAVID HOULDCROFT they equally allowed me to keep my licence. My advice to anyone in a similar situation to me
Which was drunk driving and a case the was hopeless I would advise that if you have the money to pay for a solicitor then do so but when it seems expensive you need to be able to see it through to the end and have faith in those barristers that I have mentioned.

MR ZT

MR T

I got arrested just over 8 months ago, for driving under the influence of cannabis. I was blood tested, the results came back approximately 4 months later which showed I was over the legal limit.

I contacted many firms to determine if I had a case worth fighting. My license was at risk, and so was my job. I contacted approximately 4-5 firms. All expressed I had a case worth fighting, but cost of service varied. One firm even quoted 15k which sounded ludicrous to me. Fortunate for myself I came across NML. My first contact after requesting a callback was from a lady called Sandra Cooper. She was extremely informative and transparent. My discernment made me decide to go with this company, and their fees in comparison to other firms was very reasonable. They list all costs, nothing was hidden. They are also quite flexible with payments providing you communicate. I read through a host of testimonials before making a final decision. I found some firms quite pushy in terms of choosing them, whilst these guys were very neutral. One firm even tried to discourage me from shopping around and just choosing them. I was quite confident choosing NML because I do know there are some firms out there focused predominantly on the financial gain rather than genuinely helping people like myself to keep my license.

My case went to hearing and we won on insufficient evidence produced by the CPS. The CPS was unprepared and wanted to adjourn the trial for another 6 months, my solicitor was very thorough in his argument. As a result the court threw out the case. James Brooke’s (the solicitor) was very professional and direct speaking. Louise my case worker was very efficient with her correspondences, addressing my concerns in a timely manner. The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because on the day of my hearing communication between the office and myself wasn’t great, my solicitor was late due to unforeseen circumstances and it was never communicated despite calling the office twice. The following day I discovered my case worker Louise wasn’t in, which explained the lapse in communication. Total cost spent was approximately just under £2500 which I would say is well worth it. My license and job was protected. It has been a very stressful 8 months with this case over my head, but I will recommend them 100%.I am really grateful for the service they provided. Although everyone circumstances vary, you can trust that you will be advised honestly. Don’t be discouraged thinking because you have been prosecuted you will loose your license, because like myself you may just win because the CPS is unprepared and have produced insufficient evidence by the day of your trial.
