the VPS service is impeccable. The only reason for the 4 stars instea dof five is that the onboarding process is quite manual. Not difficult, just a few more steps than I would like

Why is there no response to the support record

Hello,

Why is there no response to the support record I have opened for two weeks and the e-mails I sent? Now this terrible support has reached the point of unacceptable.

I want an immediate and urgent return and otherwise I will complain to the official media for my losses.

Best,

Solid root server, good setup experience so far!

I bought a Netcup RS 2000 G12 with IPv4 in September 2026 and have run it for about two months with some key personal infrastructure relying on it at this point.

Provisioning and first login were straightforward. It may take a few minutes to receive your Customer Control Panel and Server Control Panel login credentials, but I received mine within a half hour or so after initial payment. I installed Debian 13, as I do everywhere, and have been using it as a TailScale & WireGuard endpoint, a remote development box, plus a Git server, a notification server, and a mail server for my domain, as well as a small metrics and observability dashboard to watch web traffic to some of my other projects' sites.

No unplanned downtime I’ve noticed. Outbound mail to major providers has landed in inboxes (with the help of Mailgun). I haven't required any infrastructure support so far, but communication seems responsive, and the things I need have been easy to find within the control panel menus or documentation. It's surely a better value for what you get than any other major providers - I couldn't find a better price-to-performance ratio in my shopping.

I’d recommend them for your personal VPS and infrastructure needs based on this experience so far. I’ll update this if anything changes over the longer term.

raw unthrottled power of cpu and disk

if you want raw power of unthrottled cpu and the ten times iops of direct attached local disks, go for netcup.

the block devices from cloud providers and even traditional hosting providers like hetzner and ovh offer you triple replicated volumes with ten times slower iops. of couse, that gives redundancy, which may not be required your workloads or you may have build it yourself

only downside - no api control

Great value for money!

NetCup's machines have great value for money and the customer support is helpful. It takes a little longer for the customer support to handle your case if there are a lot of existing cases though.

this is the worst experience i have…

this is the worst experience i have ever had with any server company i cant delete the account if you want to experience the maximum number of clicks it takes to still not have a server but have an unpaid invoice then be my guest this is absolutely shit. it has taken me well over 50 clicks to try to procure a server and its still not here!!! Prepare for it to take 3 days before you get email where you get a number and a password sent to you in email via text. this is like from the 90s

Paid server never delivered, support goes silent

We ordered and paid for a root server (RS 1000) for a production project. More than a week later it still hadn't been provisioned. Support confirmed a problem with automatic provisioning, said they had passed it on to another department, and then went quiet: no deadline, no updates unless we chased them. For a production system with a fixed go-live date that's unacceptable. Prices look attractive, but if delivery or support matters to you, think twice. We're asking for a refund and moving to another provider.

Rock-solid performance and unbeatable reliability for over a decade 🐉⚔️🛡️⚡

I’ve been a customer with netcup for around 10 years now, hosting complex custom projects, servers, and production environments. Their performance, hardware uptime, and network stability are top-notch. Whenever you need reliable infrastructure that just works without unexpected hiccups, netcup delivers.

After a decade of smooth operations, I can fully recommend them to anyone looking for professional hosting on an international level. Keep up the great work! 🐉⚔️🛡️⚡

Great prices and reliable service!

I've been using netcup for a while now, and I'm really happy with the service. The pricing is excellent, and the servers have been stable and reliable.

The only thing I'd like to see improved is the control panel. A more modern and user-friendly interface would make the experience even better.

Overall, great value for money! Definitely recommend netcup.

Almost 25% price increase for existing …

The server itself runs fine, but I'm disappointed overall. Existing customers are seeing a nearly 25% price increase due to RAM costs, even though the RAM for my root server was priced at sign-up way before the RAM price increase. When I asked whether prices would drop again if RAM costs fall, the question was avoided rather than answered, and netcup has no history of reversing increases. Unannounced reboots are also a problem since I require a password on boot, and support requests take days to get answered.
