The Renewal Experts are not good at all. It took over an hour to renew my domain name for 3 years. The phone employees at "Call our Renewal Experts at 1-877-840-7648" do not speak proper English and do not understand website or business terminology. It took 3 different employees before finally renewing the domain name.

Hi have had a relationship with Network Services I believe for over 20 years. Was at that time not a big believer in websites unless you were in a business that most customers are price driven, which I try to stay away from in my business. Had website redone about 12 years ago and have not touched it since and don't plan on it as my business is generated through referrals. About a year ago at request of client, I started to use the email address associated with the website to obtain certain information that I was not receiving through my primary email account. I immediately noticed that the email I was receiving was all spam - I assume coming through the website. However, no matter if I identified it as spam, it came back multiple times. Then they put in finally a block option. This worked until I hit the block limit! I requested that the limit be extended since most of the email I was receiving was spam -never heard back from my request. Finally some entity was able to hijack my account (I never opened any emails other than the few individuals who knew about this account) and they sent out emails to the individuals who had contacted me on the account. One in particular was they used my name to direct funds from a client to their bank account. I filed a case with NS and other than receive from them a canned reply about two step verification. I then tried to log into my account and it was asking for two step verification which I had never set up! So today I called support and worked with the individual on setting up two step verification. The first part went smoothly on the client manager login. But the second part on setting up two step on the email account that had been hacked, was a struggle. Some due to the online advisor not understanding that 1. had filed a case and never heard from a life body or even a real email. 2. Had been locked out of account because it was requiring 2 step verification that had never been set up. The other painful portion was to find the right google authenticator that acknowledged my email - not NS issue, but they were not helpful in resolving it, I had to figure it out on my own. In the end it all was resolved, however this is not a very friendly customer service business. The one thing that they are very good at is trying to collect sign up renewals 6 months in advance. That is extremely annoying and of course after years of having this repeated each year, I wait to the very end to renew. This company may have been at one time the first major aggregator of websites, but they have been passed a long time ago by the now industry leaders in this sector- they just have not been a customer oriented business.

I am writing to commend Dan from the billing department for his outstanding service. He spent over an hour on the phone with me, consistently demonstrating a patient, honest, and highly professional attitude. Dan truly went above and beyond to resolve my issue while maintaining a courteous demeanor throughout our interaction.

I had previously been a customer of iPage, when that company was bought out by Network Solutions. Everything about transferring my Website over has been a nightmare. And their customer service people are not helpful. My webpage disappeared without warning. I was later told that I needed to buy an SSL certificate (something that I've never had to do with any of my previous web hosting services). Given time constraints and inconvenience factors, I simply paid them the money. When I try to sort things out with their customer service team. I found them to be very unclear, undertrained and impatient.
I will not be renewing with them in the future.

First, Network Solutions bought my long-time web and email host, Fat Cow, with no notice to me. When I went to the Fat Cow site, there was an undecipherable page that made me feel I'd been hacked. Eventually I was able to ascertain that NS was hosting my web site. Then I realized that they had broken links to the graphics on my site. I decided to rebuild my site in some other way
NS over sold me on the service I needed, which was to keep my domain's email service alive. I had to go through a lot of time consuming rigamarole. I wanted to maintain four addys. The NS agent had me pay for four "professional" addys when I could have made do with one addy and three aliases at 25% of the cost.
Last week my email went dead for three days. I had three service calls with Network Solutions, one with their AI, which was good for understanding, and two with humans, who, in themselves, where personable and, I think, did their best to be helpful. They finally explained that my email service was killed by some changes NS had made. Let's say I'm not a happy camper.

The service is good. They have on site chat feature which is responsive. The team is helpful too. The site is straightforward and user-friendly.
The only downside is that if at all, your auto renewal fails for some reason, and you don't renew the domain on the exact day or prior, you will be charged a reinstatement fee of $30.
Which I believe is a little unfair, it could happen for many reasons. Other domain registrars provide a 30 days grace period, although your domain will be inactive, you can pay the renewal amount and get it activated.
After the grace period, it is up to the registrar to cancel it or put it up for resale.
Just my opinion, other than that, I do not have any issues.

I'm a volunteer managing the migration of our community website to a new host. I needed to repoint our domain's nameservers, preserve our existing email (MX) records through the switch, and resolve an SSL certificate that had been issued for the apex domain but not the www subdomain. Oliver, the support representative, demonstrated strong technical skills and assisted me with a very tricky conversion. I made a subsequent request for help concerning the certificate. Network Solutions diagnosed the problem: the certificate was serving the default fallback on the www subdomain despite DNS resolving properly. They walked through the DNS propagation and certificate provisioning process and got the Let's Encrypt certificate reissued to cover both the apex and www domains. The connection now resolves securely on both. Efficient, accurate, and clearly experienced with custom-domain and HTTPS issues. Highly recommend. Fabulous service great technical help...and nice people too.

Working with Ann M from the marketing team has been the best part of my experience with NS. She and her team communicated just right, their work product was impeccable (literally!), and the SEO component was seamless. I got really lucky to work with Ann and very grateful she was assigned to my account.

Network Solutions bills incorrectly and does not own up to their mistakes. They do not provide credits, regardless of your circumstance. You can speak with a supervisor or management but will be told to wait for their decision via email. I do not recommend using Network Solutions. They are not user friendly. Had issues with their security protocols which prevented emails, then my email was deleted by their system and I was still being billed. I finally had to request Network Solutions to delete my account to prevent erroneous reoccurring billing because there are no options to manage in your profile.

AI has come a long way. The Network Solutions conversational technical problem resolution AI is remarkable.
My only concern would be getting a response from the partner manager.
