I've been an iPower customer for 20+ years for my email and domain services. They were eventually brought under the Network Solutions umbrella. Three days ago, our entire family’s email accounts suddenly stopped working.
After contacting Network Solutions, I was told they are unable to restore my email hosting service because I supposedly did not renew the hosting subscription in time. The frustrating part is that I never received any notification that the service required renewal. The reason, apparently, is that the renewal reminder was sent to an old iPower email address that had previously forwarded to my main account, but that forwarding link broke when the iPower system was retired.
To make matters worse, there is not even a proper account history page on Network Solutions showing past services, renewal dates, payments, or related records. You would think that after only three days of interrupted service, they could simply reinstate the email hosting and sell me a new subscription, but I was told that is impossible.
At this point, I can recreate my old email addresses through a new hosting provider, but I have permanently lost all historical email data tied to those accounts. Extremely disappointing experience.
One additional note: their website chat bot was not very capable, but their phone system worked surprisingly well and quickly connected me to a live agent. I spoke with two different representatives, and both interactions were professional and positive experiences in themselves. That's why I rated this a 2-star instead of a 1-star.

I've spent thousands of dollars on SEO by Network Solutions, but the emails from Network Solutions give me no usable information. All I want is to know the page views and number of visitors on my website -- LarryBodine.com. Yet when I go to the dashboard, click Marketing, click Manage, and click reports, I end up on a page saying "Permissions Required." What the heck? I want a refund.

I absolutely love Network Solutions. They offer awesome customer service, at an awesome price point. I use the company one of my domains and have a professional email address. It has all the functions I need and the DNS records have been user friendly enough for me to connect it to third parties myself.

Equally impressive was they remained very cordial and nonplused throughout our conversation despite often having to teach me so I could understand both the issue (cause) and the remedy.

I communicated with several Customer Support Specialists throughout the resolution process, including Jonathan, Anoop, and Mona, and each one was helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. One, CSS, however, was exceptional: Yanne D. She was very patient and empathetic as she truly listened to me while I explained my concerns with how the issues with my services were being handled. She then took the time to explain why the escalated matter was taking a bit longer than usual, how it was going to be resolved, and what I should expect in terms of time frame. During her coordination of the resolution process for my particular service issues, Yanne made me feel as though I truly mattered as a person who was entrusting Network Solutions with my online presence as opposed to my being just another customer paying for website services. I just received great support with an email problem. And, it was absolutely accurate. Everything was handled on a chat, first time.
If your email was migrated from ipage, let them know and they will give you the new parameters to get it synchronizing again. Also, they have a link to go directly to the Roundcube client'
It was nice to get quick help when needed!

We were forced onto Network Solutions as a result of its merger with iPage, and the experience was unacceptable from the outset. Shortly after the transition, our website went down without any warning. When I contacted customer support, I was told that the only way to restore service was to purchase an additional service—an SSL certificate. That demand directly contradicted the assurances we had been given before the merger: that the transition would be seamless and would not involve any extra costs. We paid for the SSL immediately and were told the site would be back online within 24 hours. It was not. Instead, it took three more calls to customer service, and our website remained down for five full days. What should have been a straightforward transition turned into unexpected charges, repeated follow-ups, and an extended disruption to our business. We ultimately moved to a different hosting provider for significantly less money, and the difference has been night and day. Our new site is more modern, performs better, and the entire experience has been far more reliable and professional.

With PureHost (now called iPage) switching to Network Solutions for hosting my web sites I ran into trouble having my mail accounts in PureHost transferred over to Network Solutions. I called the HELP line. AI was not too helpful, but switched me over to a technical assistant named Nick. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And very patient as the steps were complicated and involved long stretches when he had to wait for me to navigate browsers and email accounts. Really a life saver! He also offered a small discount on their hosting fee if I approved it immediately, which I did.

I was working with a yound lady named Jed. She was terrific. My folders dissapeared on my email. she tried everything but we ended up escalating the problem. She was a joy to work with. I am elderly and she was patient and helped me walk through the process. Unfortunatly, the problem needed to go to another team, but she was great!
