If you see the word KinetQ underwriting avoid them please. Worst experience in my financial aspect.

I took this Taxi insurance policy out with XYZ insurance (who are a broker) My insurance is with Eridge. I was hot by another car in October. I have had to deal with 9 companies to try and sort this out and am still dealing with Lemonade Motor legal, New law solicitors, Sovereign Automotive, Eridge - through me "trying" to contact them and not getting through!! Questgate and ESCG - whoever the hell they are?? I'm getting pretty fed up now. None of you seem to know what is going on, why have I had to deal with so many companies regarding this claim?? My Broker XYZ said Eridge are responsible for dealing with everything, yet you have done nothing and I have had to do your job for you!! Do not go with this company, the stress is not worth the cheaper price for insurance!!

Never consider them.i have a taxi,got hit in the back,and they want to pay me peanuts and to write it off.best to go with a reputable insurance company even if one has to pay more.

Been charged £700 after 16 days of cancellation. Avoid it

Very bad experience. cancelled my policy, plus took a months payment, wants a cancellation fee of 300 pounds and will not release my no claims bonuses. Absolutely disgusting service.

Awful company to deal with avoid at all costs

Iv just been told by this company that they won't be paying me out for my 40k van that got stolen last November nearly a year.

All police report sent in , cctv footage
No recovery of van . I'm absolutely shocked no one has been in contact in over 7 months and iv still been paying for my van .

Spare keys were in my car but I haven't locked the car they went into my car unlocked or locked its still theft And stole my van keys.

I will be taking this matter to lawyers in the morning

Had an accident in my car, I am weeks down the line and phoning every morning and every night to be told ‘I’m just taking messages as everyone is in training, someone will call you back’. What an appalling company. I paid extra to have a courtesy car, I am now week 2 and a half, and still no further forward with my claim, still no car, and still no contact from anyone. Having read the rest of these reviews, I will begin legal proceedings, it’s very clear they are scammers.

I have never experienced an insurance company like these guys!

No communication from these at all. Two months later from the accident they have decided to say policy claim is on hold due to them spying on my Facebook profile photo that was taken a year ago and because i have different hoodie on than what they would like to see then they place the claim on hold. I know you literally wouldn’t believe this at all! I cannot wait to gather the information on how they obtained numerous information and pass that maybe onto a media agency and publish these total cowboys. I will be reporting these to the ombudsman and seeking to claim compensation for their absolutely appalling service for the past two months which has been no reply to my emails nor doing what they say in the phone! These people should not be operating. Do not buy from these guys nor from kgm underwriting either as I believe they are owned by the same people. How would John Hamilton the MD like it if I ignored you for months? Totally corrupt group!

STAY AWAY!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company took my money each month. I had a car theft by kids bare in mind a mark1 focus st170 so very rare car. Nearly a classic. Spe.t over 3 thousand on building it nicely. The kids seen running from the car by neighbours was never caught. It took 8 weeks for this company to pick up my car, takes 1.5 hours to get through to speak to someone. Phoned 8 times and given no further ansews. Apart from its with the engineers. I know this car inside out. I know where the kids crashed it. Iv seen the fence it hit. And this company wrote it off as a cat b when the damage is a door and a bumper. Which I said I can sort myself as I know breakers. The first bloke I spoke to said they will return the car and pay out 2thousand at cat n or s. When I agreed they then told me my car is a total loss and is valued at 1000 but whilst the coat is 950 on excess.. which is not.. its 500 and owing the insurance 655 which I didn't want to cancel nor why should I pay if they are cancelling and not keeping me insured. That aside they offered 40.00 at the cost of scraping the car. I did alot of research and I'm legally able to have the car back for parts. To my breaker.. since the emails last week iv had no response. No car back. I have a solicitor now involved. This company will not cover you I you do get into an accident or anything else they worm there way around anything possible

The under writing is edrige underwriting the worst possible company on the face of the planet take money off you as a deposit and cancel your policy to make it look like its your fault

Eridge Underwriters are unprofessional supercilious and lackadaisical. As with other reviews on this site we have experienced their disinterest in customers once they have their money. As with previous reviews we had a no fault accident claim. It's no fault so Eridge was not financially responsible. Yet they mis advised their own customer to reduce a fair claim to replace a car their agents had written off.
I do not think this is a proper insurance company. No company that had a shred of honesty and integrity about them would have acted in such a truly unprofessional way throughout the claim. Adrian Flux was the broker and they were less than useless as well. Their only response was to advise to take it up with Eridge which we had already done.
DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES IF YOU EXPECT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO LOOK AFTER YOU.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! DISGUSTING SERVICE 8 MONTHS AFTER MY CLAIM FOR A THEFT THEY SEND ME A LETTER TO SAY I AM NOT COVERED AND WILL NOT BE RECEIVING ANY COVER !!! ABSOLUTELY NO REASON OTHER THAN IT WASN'T STOLEN FROM MY ADDRESS ! AND THEY TOOK MY 9 YEARS NO CLAIMS ALSO !

Blacklisted My name because they said I never returned documents intime, now I can not get car insurance at all. Theres No-one to talk to. Apparently they don't talk to there customers! Awful company

Absolutely discusting micky mouse company please anyone that even thinks to go with this company you will be crazy no contact number nothing email only if you get a reply had my van stolen then tolde they won't pay out because I didn't tell them about 6 points on my licence I didn't no I had them that's why I didn't tell them what a poor excuse rude claims handlers that are a separate company ecsg I could go on and on fraudsters need closing down should not be allowed to be running please anyone don't go with this company unless you are out of your minds

Absolute joke of a place. They will act all friendly and put words in your mouth. My van got stolen and they refused to pay because I was in the process of insulating and boarding the van out. The work wasn't done but they deemed that as modified. 11k worth of damage done to van. Nothing bk.

Eridge without doubt the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with in 20+ yrs in the motor trade industry. AVOID THIS COMPANY they will cancel your policy. Don’t be bullied by these cowboys take your issues with them to the financial ombudsman eventually they’ll be legally stopped from ripping people off.

In January I had a car stolen. In my experience I found Eridge Underwriting, Ecsg insurance and my broker Adrian Flux to be incredibly helpful, understanding and professional. I am a complete stress head, and the staff at all of the above companies were patient in reassuring me. Jamie from Ecsg went above and beyond the call of duty talking me through the process and being empathetic. I'd like to say thank you to Eridge for making an absolutely horrible experience bearable, although it is never nice to have a vehicle stolen it was a pleasure dealing with you all.
