I would not give this despicable outfit minus trillion star's, but had to click at least 1 star to get to write a review.i took out a motor trader's policy last year through a broker(THINK INSURANCE)of walsall, who waxed lyrical about this company, promised me much, delivered very little, and caused endless grief and random anxiety by demanding ever more: proof of trading, all manner of documentation,photographic evidence of parking for vehicles; and so on endlessly, no sooner had i supplied i dossier afer another,i would get a warning of CANCELLATION of policy, due to apparently either not receiving my document's (even after multiple forwarding by various methods; E mails, postal, etc) then they would cycle through the same repeat rhetoric and threats of VOIDING my policy. I have had the most exempalary driving record, clean driving licence for over 25 years, and aged now 65, full licence holder for well over 47 year's! Without spot or stain on my character, and yet they would randomly demand ever more credentials, i suspect with ulterior motive to either get me to cancel my policy, or use as a pretext to void my policy at a moment's notice without any significant evidence to justify wrong doing on my part.these unscrupolous people will stoop to any level to rob hard working honest driver's, and vilify and tarnish their good character with indelible "self serving regulatory powers" it's about time they where brought to book, and be fully accountable for their scandalous ill treatment of innocent public.the bottom line in this saga concerning my impoverished perception viewed from this outrageous company is, they CANCELLED my insurance at 4.55pm on thursday evening, after requesting further ridiculous documentation, that on reflection would be an insult to a mere 5 year old childs intelligence, knowingly that i had only 5 MINUTES to provide the additional "EVIDENCE" or otherwise the policy would NOT get reinstated, BUT i would need to get a requote,with HIGHER premium as a result of a direct impediment on my part, apparently?? Deflecting blame, and tarnishing my future ability to obtain insurance with guaranteed banishment due to either choosing to withold "MATERIAL FACT'S" by not disclosing that i had my insurance cancelled or had been refused, for many years ahead! How DISGUSTING is this self serving cesspit of the modern day insurance companys.AVOID THIS ABOMINATION, masquerading as a bona fide insurance company, as i now have NO INSURANCE, after been fleeced of well over 2 grand, lost my NO CLAIMS BONUS, And WILL BE ON THE REGISTER OF CANCELLED OR REFUSED INSURANCE, on BOGUS ground's, these people need to be dealt with SEVERELY, made to repay premiums and serve significant prison terms. AVOID AVOID AVOID at all cost. THIEVES of the lowest order!!

Worst insurance provider I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They Cancelled my traders insurance because I scrapped a car that I had received as a part exchange. No other reason, just that one small thing. They just told me that I am not allowed to do that. Cheers for nothing.

Be careful guys with this company. My policy was 1573£ for 12 months. After 4 months I did cancel insurance. I payed them 1100£ already and in this case they still charging me for rest money. Even if I have cancellation agreement what they must refund at least 40 % they won't do it. Keep away from this Co.

I FOUND AN ALTERNATIVE, PEAKCOCK INSURANCE BROKERS NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH THEM, I'M GOING BACK TO THEM REGARDLESS IF THERE EXPENSIVE.

Ive had motor trade insurance with them and after few month they said they dont insure porsch, mercedes AMG- bmw M - nissan gt. and etc....
but at first place and in my policy certificate saying : Any Motor vehicle , excluding trailer - trike - and etc...
They charged me £4780.00 to cancel my policy to get another . Keep away... bunch of scamers ..

I’m in agreement with lots of other EXTREMELY UNHAPPY customers of ‘Policy Plan’.
I used a broker ‘Onesure’ who I’ve previously used so they have my previous ‘Non Fault’ claims history. Well, the crank at Onesure asked if I had the 3 remaining non fault claims, two of which I was NOT with my van. I paid in full (£1150) and heard nothing until the beginning of this week when they said they are cancelling my policy because I have 4 claims on my file that are non fault. There is and always have been 3 because the last one (4th) wasn’t pursued because it was only a slight cracked plastic bracket which I fixed myself, hence not continuing with it because I believe it was pointless. However, these horrible Cun*s have decided in their wisdom to cancel the policy without speaking to me first. If they had done their job properly they would in fact be made aware of the mistake and old information on the file. I think these CUN*S need stopping because all they do is cause problems for people. I’ve read a lot of negative reviews with similar circumstances, so it’s clearly a problem in their office.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND PAY THAT BIT EXTRA TO BE REASSURED!!!

Absolute worst insurers and scammers!! I used a broker to get insurance on a van and they used these scammers who after granting the insurance then told me they were cancelling my policy because I hold another license to operate for a completely different industry! I’ve never heard such nonsense when it was totally irrelevant to the product of van insurance which is all I wanted them to provide. They take your money and don’t disclose any conditions which would prevent them insuring you and find any excuse to cancel and don’t want to listen to any voice of reason. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! SCAMMERS!!

Would be 0 if allowed, took my money then 8 months in got letter saying they were cancelling as I had 8 vehicles insured but Google maps only showed space for 3, they didn't allow for the 5m x 4m garage containing my motorbikes,

Luckily my broker managed to sort it out after providing proof that I had a lease at a storage facility to hold overflow of vehicles but it was a close 1.
Totally avoid at all costs and I won't renew with them this year

This company are nothing but scammers be aware! If you want to be insured do not insure your car with them! I wish I read the reviews before taking it out! They asked documents which we sent out! Two weeks later without notice they cancelled my policy without even telling me! How sick is that! Their excuse I didn’t send documents! I had proof I sent them documents! Then their excuse was they can’t insure me because I wasn’t on a policy for 7 months! How sickening they asked me all relevant questions at the time took my deposit then two weeks later a payment then to say because I wasn’t on a policy for 7 months I cannot be insured! Scammers please stay away from this company! Legal action will be taken against them! So no one else has to suffer and I hope they get closed down! Absolute dawgs!

Policy plan is the worst insurance company I've ever come a cross definitely 100 per rip off any chance they get they will try and cancel your policy once you have paid in full would not recommend to anyone they are useless very un helpfull anyone in motor trade keep away from this company Rubbish

We run 3 light commercial vans and had been insured with Policy Plan a couple years ago. On the recommendation of our broker, we moved to RSA, however, this year, we decided to compete at the broker level and approached Insurance Choice, part of the Insurance Factory group, and they decided to place our business with Policy Plan. The quote was accepted and premium agreed. However, 2 days later we were told that Policy Plan we cancelling because of "excessive claims history". We have 9, 6 and 4 years NCD on the vans and zero "at fault" claims. We also have 4 windscreen claims over the last 2 years, with none prior to Jan 2017. We have had the policy cancelled, with 7 days notice, and fees deducted leaving us with 3 vans in the yard, unusable until the broker, or new broker, is able to insure us.
Are we that bad a risk that we're un-insurable or is Policy Plan that bad a business for penalising companies with a good driving history - 2 "not at fault" accidents is 19 years is better than the industry average even when the 4 windscreens is factored in.

Policy Plan are CHEAP and that is for a reason.
Avoid - they mess you about and are so unhelpful.

I Would not rate PolicyPlan at all. Staff wow how rude, I asked for details of cover as I wanted to check I could take my vehicle to Spain! The young person I spoke to put me on hold for ages and then told me there wasn’t anyone to ask as I had called at the wrong time!!!
I asked to speak to a manager and was told that no one was available and the office manager does not take calls! Then hung up.
Totally diabolical and poor service.

I just required a simple change of vehicle on my private hire insurance policy,I contacted them 10am it’s now gone 3pm still nothing done to say they took the payment over 1 hour ago.I wish they could at least sort out a simple task like this without putting the driver off the road as it’s costing me money because of these clowns

If we could give a 0 we would. They’ve cancelled a policy for nothing and left my dad stranded 80 miles away with no insurance. We are paying for banners to go over motorway bridges and signs to let everyone know not to go with this rip off insurance. Everyone needs to put the word out how bad these are.
