I want to say a big thank-you to Dennis for his reassuring expertise and professionalism in handling my breakdown on the A34 a couple of miles north of the M4 interchange on Friday 19 June.
It was incredibly hot and he showed every consideration for my safety and comfort. It was important in the circumstances that he was allowed to get me home with my car himself. The clutch had to be replaced.

Broke down on the Prince of Wales…
Broke down on the Prince of Wales bridge . Had to stand other side of the barrier in 34 degree heat .was told I was priority .waited 2 hours .bearing in mind I have the top breakdown cover .a breakdown lorry turned up .not aa was told he could only take us to cardiff gate services then had to wait for aa to get me back to cardiff .I am not at all happy with this ..both men were great not their fault .

Out off fuel
Kelvyn was great I stupidly ran out off petrol first time I have done this he drove me too nearest fuel station to get 2 cans of fuel and he put that in the car and followed us for a couple of miles too make sure we was OK first time I have broke down and called aa there were great very professional and very understanding been with aa now for 2 years wont use anyone else now thank you kelvyn

An Hour Just to Cancel? Not Good Enough
I have been with the AA for years, but my latest experience has completely changed my opinion of the company.
My renewal increased from £78 to £198, which was enough for me to decide it was time to cancel. What I wasn't prepared for was just how difficult the AA would make that process.
What should have been a simple cancellation turned into well over an hour of being sent from one place to another. I was directed to different departments, pushed between online and phone support, had live chats mysteriously end, and constantly felt like I was being steered away from actually cancelling. Instead of respecting my decision, the whole process seemed designed to make me give up through frustration.
It immediately reminded me of the recent £28 million fine imposed on Virgin Media following concerns about the way customers were treated when trying to cancel. Whether intentional or not, the experience felt very similar. Companies should never make cancelling so difficult that customers feel trapped or worn down into staying.
The huge price increase was disappointing, but the cancellation process was by far the worst part of the experience. If a company is confident in its service and pricing, it shouldn't need to put barriers in the way of customers who choose to leave. Joining is quick and easy—leaving should be too.
Sadly, based on this experience, I can't recommend the AA.

78, disabled , blue badge & Gold membership counted for nothing .
Phoned daughter who then did make contact with AA
Membership to be renewed in August !!!!!! Would I bother … very much doubt it if this is the AA at its best !!!!
I shall be phoning head office in Basingstoke early next week to make an official complaint !!!!
