Thanks to Craig for finding our NEFf combination oven when they were few and far between and keeping on top of it until it arrived. Would definately use Trade Prices Direct again

Best price I could find and good comms about delivery.

These are difficult times for retailers with supply chain disruptions playing havoc to delivery schedules.

To his credit Craig and team pulled out the stops both to secure hard to find items and find creative ways to get them delivered. When inevitable hiccups arose the team responded quickly to queries.

Accurate description of product on line. Communication very good, instant email confirmation. Slightly confused about booking delivery, but lady on phone was very helpful and polite and arranged delivery for next working day. Product arrived on time in good condition. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Would recommend and will certainly use again.

Would definitely use again in the future

This company falsely lists products as 'in stock'. I called up before I ordered in October and was assured that they were one of the few companies with the oven I wanted and that I'd receive my item on a specific date in October 2022. I made the purchase, which was over £1500. The delivery date came and went – no item. I had to chase, only to be told that the date had been moved (no-one informed me of that, in fact they said the opposite when I called to confirm days before) and I had spent the day indoors waiting for nothing.

What followed was 4 months of missed dates, palliatives, empty promises and even "100%" assurance my item was arriving this week (4 months later). Based on the false promises, I thought I would have an oven for Christmas but they disappointed me as a customer yet again so I was without an oven at Christmas. I was offered other (cheaper) interim models but this would have been at an additional cost to me because my builders were only booked to fit one, not fit a temporary model and replace it. All in all, it was extremely inconvenient and stressful over winter and completely halted my kitchen renovation.

Finally, I was given this "100% confirmed" date in January. Their customer service person assured me via text message (when I chased) that everything was on track every step of the way, right up to the day of this magical missing stock arriving. The timeframe came and went. And unsurprisingly, that item did not appear. 

The item in question is STILL listed as 'in stock' on their website, to fool other customers, but it's not in their possession. The customer service person spent his last call with me blaming the global shipping issue, and taking no accountability for the false claims made by TPD. The main problem is that customer expectations are horribly and dishonestly managed by this company. When I speak to other suppliers of this item, their lead time from today is between 6-16 weeks. Many websites I checked in October 2022 said it would arrive in 2023. I prefer that honesty; at least I would have been able to consent to a waiting time instead of being strung along.

I am of the belief that TPD is offering false hope to customers to get money in the short term, with no clear delivery windows in sight. When I pointed out the website verbiage to the customer service person, he just they just list items as in stock when "stock is looking better", which is a vague and confusing comment. But he never gave me a straight answer as to why they show something as 'in stock' when it isn't.

The promise of delivery has been extremely stressful, seeing as it is also affecting my builders who have put my kitchen project on hold because of this dodgy supplier. TPD has given me £100 as an apology (£25 for every month I was strung along I guess) and refunded me when I asked, which is fair enough. However, I had to warn other customers because, in my opinion, they are still advertising stock they don't have. This really was the worst customer experience ever.

Well where do I begin…..
I normally never leave reviews but since I have been dealing with these guys I am amazed every time by their service and ability to make anything happen.

I have been working in the plumbing and heating industry for the last 10 years and yet to find an online merchant that has everything under one roof, at competitive rates and impeccable delivery options/service.

Highly recommend to anyone.

To put it simply - on promised date, no delivery, no product and zero communication from the store. After multiple tries, finally managed to get through only to learn delivery is delayed by a month. Next month, on the day, the exact same thing happened - no delivery, no communication and once again, i had to reach out multiple times just to find out when to expect products they took my money for months ago. Obtaining a refund was a similar ordeal with multiple ignored emails

I understand delays but complete lack of communication like this is not just unprofessional but simply bad business

Take your money elsewhere

This is the second time I have used TPD and both times they were able to offer me exactly what I needed at a very competitive price. Craig White was very knowledgeable when he talked me through the options and we agreed on the spec. When we accepted the proposal, the boiler was delivered very quickly (within a couple of days) and efficiently.
