Väntade på återbetalning av bränsledepositionen i nästan 2 veckor. Efter 3 e-mail påminnelser utan någon som helst respons gick jag till deras kontor (Calpe).
"Oj då" sa receptionisten, tog fram kortterminalen och krediterade. Sen tog det ytterligare 2 dygn innan jag såg pengarna!
Jag tycker att det är grundläggande att man till och börja med svarar på e-mail ganska omgående och vidare att återbetalning ska ske direkt efter det att man lämnat tillbaka bilen. Därav 1 stjärna.

Waited for a refund of the fuel deposit for almost 2 weeks. After 3 e-mail reminders with no response whatsoever, I went to their office (Calpe).
"Oh well" the receptionist said, took out the card terminal and credited. Then it took another 2 days before I saw the money!
I think it is fundamental that you start by answering e-mails quite promptly and furthermore that the refund should be made immediately after you return the car. Hence 1 star.

Esperé casi dos semanas el reembolso del depósito de combustible. Tras tres correos electrónicos de recordatorio sin obtener respuesta, fui a su oficina en Calpe.
"Bueno", dijo la recepcionista, sacó el terminal de pago y realizó el abono. ¡Y luego pasaron otros dos días antes de que recibiera el dinero!
Creo que es fundamental que respondan a los correos electrónicos con prontitud y que el reembolso se realice inmediatamente después de la devolución del coche. Por eso les doy una estrella.

Disgusting in all respects definitely a scammer company who don’t inspect the cars upon return then claim for damages over a week after then deduct the bogus damage costs from excess monies taken out of account.
Then after numerous correspondence and providing photo evidence you get an apologetic mail and money returned bug not after stressful correspondence.
This happened during two consecutive car hires with identical scam attempts !!!!
Do not use under any circumstances as we hire cars a lot on holiday and these are one of the worst we have ever dealt with plus it’s sad to say there are many others 🥹

The service was great, and to park the car there daily was perfect for us!

Our experience of VictoriaCars was excellent from start to finish. An initial call to say we were at the pick up place, the shuttle bus arrived promptly with a friendly driver. At the office there was no delay and the young man serving us was again friendly and very professional, even recomended places to visit during our months stay. There was the hard sell for items we did not want but that was expected and fine. The car was in very good order and we were on our way in no time at all. On returning the vehicle our experience was the same, prompt, efficient and friendly and the shuttle bus driver was excellent. No problem with deposits being returned. We will be using VictoriaCars again for sure

Used Victoria cars at Alicante for many years. Competitively priced. Frequent shuttle bus from airport to base. Quick pick up of car at collection point. Speak many languages. Nice new cars. No hidden costs. Also offices across region , so can collect at airport and drop off at destination / vice versa. Quick hassle free refund on fuel not used. One problem in 30+ years and was resolved immediately. Wouldn’t use anyone else!

Although Victoria cars are not Airport based their service is excellent, staff are friendly and efficient, great service absolutely recommend, everything is transparent with no traps

Really nice staff and good comunication. They were a bit delayed at delivery, but let me know in time. To compensate for this, I was late in handing the car back, which was just fine (I'm only joking - I forgot about time, to be honest, but it WAS fine with them all the same!). Also, we misuderstood each other slightly regarding pick-up-point, to which they made no fuzz. I will be using Victoria again.

Travel to the area 6-7 times a year and would not use anyone else

The car itself was in good condition and transfer from the airport to the location was smooth. There was an attempted very hard sell on extra insurance at the counter, combined with quite slow check-in and some alleged difficulty processing a normal overseas credit card payment that was used as an attempt to force the extra insurance as well. Charging (rather than merely holding) the large deposit for damage and fuel is not unusual among these sorts of second-tier rental companies. I read horror stories online about charging for damage after return. This apparently did not happen in this instance, with the deposits being returned in full, but I made a point of extensive photo documentation before and after as well as conveying an impression of vigilance and willingness to pursue remedies if anything untoward happened. I strongly recommend ample photos before and after to reduce temptation.

AVOID! Stay away from them! I've been renting cars all over the world and this was worst experience. First experience was already odd - i had to call them 3 times before a bus to the airport arrived (other companies there had already picked their clients' twice at least in a meanwhile). Then it was only worst they offered a car on a their page for fixed money. When i came they're trying to force me to pay an insurance which is more expensive than a car rental and they refused returing the deposit claiming that they found new damages (i shall say scratches at the areas like inside wheel arch) after a full week from the moment I retured the car! They refused to check it in the moment i was returning the car and refused to pay the deposit back - unfortunately i couldn't do anything because it was not a blocked founds on my card i could ask bank to reject/release. This is fraud! I am sure these scratches either existed begfore (especially after what i saw when picking up a car - i had to pin point pre-existing scratches and damages myself - as all was ok by the guy doing inspecion) or were caused after i returned the car. These scrates which they found (after a week of keeping the car or maybe even renting it) not precisely marked on the pick-up protocol in their opinion are worth over 1000EUR, whern in fact it's not more than 100EUR to repair them if they wanted. Moreover - when i returned the car and was waiting on security checks they called me 20 times to shout on me that i stollen the signal light, which i told them i didn't touch and shall be in front of passanger where the guy put it. Yeah - they found it after they boddered me for 1hr and made 20 calls. I am wondering if there is any formal institution i can send my complain to and aks them to check their practices. This is simply unacceptable behaviour.
