I was very pleased with the advice and support I received from Julie during the design stage and the fitter Kevin also did an excellent job. Overall I am very pleased with the completed kitchen. The only minor downside was the time taken to deliver a couple of replacement parts.

Great experience at Wilkes Perry Barr today. I was served by Teresa on the paint mixing isle, she was very knowledgeable and helpful, recommending the appropriate type of paint for my job. I would definitely recommend this service to others.

Matt from Ashford, Kent. He’s been great to us with his support for our school PTA. We’re in the process of making lots of OPAL improvements and we’ve needed donations of bark and pea shingle. We’ve managed to get the required amount and the whole process has been so easily. Completing the form is simple and quick and his contact is responsive. Arranging a date for delivery or collection is easy although we prefer to collect as we can use the school minibus rather than disrupt the school grounds with a large lorry. All in all, thanks Matt. You’ve been fantastic to us!

Can someone please just answer me, just tell me why you are ignoring me. You have left me in a living nightmare, is that not enough, how can you treat people like this? Just refund me my money, what are you gaining from not just giving me my deposit back?
I message, I call, I go on website and get nowhere.
Comment on facebook, instagram or on here, you send a message saying you're sorry and send details, but then do nothing. My name is Helen Walton, Martina is supposedly dealing with my case, though she ignores me, every day I message and nothing. I bought the kitchen from Lancaster, you dont need to ask for additional information in the reply because that is all you need, I am not going to put my address on here, the order number is below.
Just give me my money back.
Instead of a generic message just answer my question, why are you doing this to me?

The staff were very helpful but we had to find thing quickly as the store was so uncomfortable due to how hot the store was !!! How uncomfortable for the staff to work in those conditions !!!

Very impressed with the service provided and care that Paul Potter (Halesowen Wickes) took with us when ordering both our kitchen and bathroom. We visited him both in store, and he came out to our home to measure up and advise. Communication from him was quick and effective. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free, and Paul worked hard to ensure that we were happy with our design. We would highly recommend

Another example of a large company failing to appreciate the importance of communication and reliability.
As a trade customer, when you place an order, you schedule labour and plan work around the promised delivery date. Unfortunately, my delivery never arrived, leaving resources booked and work unable to proceed.
Trying to get an update was equally frustrating. The online messaging system simply stated they would respond within 48 hours, and customer service didn’t seem to understand the impact that missed deliveries have on live projects. Delays like this don’t just cause inconvenience—they cost time, money, and damage relationships with clients.
The discounts and promises may look attractive, but they mean very little if the service isn’t reliable enough to keep jobs running.
Based on my experience, I’d recommend sticking with your usual trade suppliers. Reliability and communication are far more valuable than a small saving on price.

We were impressed with the quality of Wickes kitchens on display and booked a design appointment with Emily which resulted in her visiting our property to measure up and talk about our wishes and what's possible.
When we attended our appointment at Wickes it was a revelation to see what Emily had put together on screen, so close to what we wanted even at first draft.
With a few alterations the layout was perfect.
She made choosing worktops, sink, taps and ovens etc as easy as possible and worked hard to keep close to our budget.
Emily was helpful, very patient and totally professional and we couldn't have achieved such a great result without her.

I went to Wickes to buy some cement and one of their staff members (Ryan) was extremely helpful with helping me load the cement in my car! He also helped me find the cement I was looking for. Will be coming back

We were in the market for a new kitchen and Andrew Watkins, a Wickes kitchen designer was recommended to us. He was absolutely fantastic. Came out sized up our space, designed us a stunning kitchen and had the plans drawn up very quickly. It wasn't just that though, any snags like returns or replacement parts he dealt with personally and without quibble. He made what was a very stressful time go as smoothly as possible. The kitchen itself and the appliances are top notch. It's quality and looks quality. And, at what we thought was a great price.

Aditi Joshi helped us design our kitchen and was absolutely fantastic. She was patient through all of our questions and design tweaks. She understood what we were going for and made recommendations throughout. She was so helpful that once our kitchen is fitted, we intend to go back for her to design our bathrooms.

Because my road is narrow the delivery driver couldn’t get down my road so he couldn’t deliver that day the drivers response was not my problem. I spoke to customer services they didn’t care they passed the buck to the Edmonton store where it came from, they wouldn’t send the delivery out in a smaller van that day they didn’t care at all that they had let me down. They told me it would come Monday, Monday came no delivery no phone call to explain why, yet again I had to phone to find out what was going on they told me Tuesday then changed there minds telling me they couldn’t deliver it as they was unwilling to use a smaller van, the only thing they delivered to me out of my order was 18 bricks costing £12 and even after they messed me around for days they still charged me for them couldn’t give me a full refund as a good will gesture and only gave me a refund for the order I didn’t receive. The customer care was disgusting they didn’t care at all that they had wasted my time and money. I will never use them again.
I placed my order with Thames building supplies Tuesday evening my order was here Wednesday afternoon has hassle no issues fantastic service from them just how it should be. My advice is to never use wickes they don’t care they let you down.

Had a great experience in a well stocked clean store in Westhill. Jill H was extremely helpful, kind and courteous.
Well done Wickes..

I've been into Wickes a few times in the last two weeks to get paving slabs, sand and cement. Teresa was there on two occasions and was very polite, pleasant and helpful. She helped me put the slabs onto the trolley and then with another colleague put them in my car. I can't thank her enough as I was with my daughter. Ammaaran was at the till and gave a warm welcome. Thank you Teresa and your colleagues for your friendly customer service and assistance, much appreciated.

We chose Wickes for a bespoke bathroom design and installation, expecting a professional design and fitting service. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.
During the installation of the bathroom, a wall was plastered too far out, which now prevents the bathroom door from opening properly. To make matters worse, the toilet was installed so close to the door that even if the door could open fully, it would still hit the toilet. This is despite the original Wickes design showing that everything should fit correctly.
We reported these issues over five months ago. After repeated chasing, Wickes eventually arranged for someone to inspect the installation. The inspection took place, but since then we have received no update, no proposed solution and no timescale for putting things right. We have continued to chase for a response but have been met with silence.
What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of communication and ownership once the problems were identified. I would advise anyone considering their bathroom installation service to think carefully about the level of aftercare and customer service they may receive if something goes wrong.

I ordered a garden spade from them on June 17th and was told a courier DXExpress would deliver it by June19th. However on June 19th the courier emailed me to say they couldn't deliver by that date but would do so by June 24th. This was okay as I live up on the coast of northern Scotland and one expects delays. But nothing came by June 24th and when I consulted Wickes's tracking page I saw to my surprise that the spade was listed as hving been delivered on June 19th! Three phone-calls to Wickes's call centre in South Africa over the next two weeks revealed only that DXExpress had passed the spade onto another courier because I was outside their range and that customer service would chase them up and get back to me but nothing came of it. Meanwhile I filled out Wickes's online forms three times about the non-delivery but never got anything more than an automated acknowledgement and a promise of help that never came. Finally I emailed the email address they listed for complaints describing everything in detail but again got nothing but an automated response with a promise of help that never came. Finally I raised a dispute with my bank, the result of which I am still awaiting.
The treatment I have received from Wickes is absolutely disgusting and I will never in my life buy anything from them again.
