Mitchell and Kieland. What can I say apart from they are a pair of legends. They managed to get everything in even through an incredibly tight 90 degree front porch.

Our kitchen designer was friendly, efficient and highly responsive right up until the point we paid our deposit. From that moment, the service fell off a cliff - and has never recovered.
1) Inconsistent pricing. During the quote stage, figures would change between emails and in-store visits without explanation, sometimes by hundreds of pounds. It made the process frustrating and difficult to trust.
2) Poor budget management. We were clear from the outset that our total budget was £12,000. Our kitchen designer got the kitchen within this figure initially (before we choose to upgrade elements), but gave us no realistic indication that the installer’s additional works would add roughly 20% on top. He suggested it would be a small extra while (his words) “they adjust bits of electrics/move appliances/re-connect appliances etc) - nowhere near the reality. Every other company we’ve since spoken to for our bathroom has proactively built a realistic buffer into their quotes. It’s absolutely possible to do, and its absence here suggests either a lack of care or a lack of experience in looking at the bigger picture.
3) Delivery chaos. We specifically flagged to our kitchen designer that we had a week in April we needed to avoid due to being abroad. We were assured we’d be contacted by the Wren delivery team to choose a slot. Instead, a delivery date was booked without our knowledge - on a day we were out of the country. By the time we discovered this after waiting 40 minutes on hold, it was too late to change. We then received a morning delivery confirmation when we’d requested afternoon, given we were flying back that day. To top it off, the lorry that arrived was too large for our driveway and the delivery had to be rescheduled entirely - something that was never discussed or signed off in our paperwork.
4) The installer delay. Our designer’s appointed installer pushed our installation back by a week (which became two), without communicating this to Wren’s delivery team. The result? We lived among boxes in our small flat for far longer than necessary. I contacted our designer the moment I learned of the delay. He sent 1 initial holding email, but that was it - silence.
5) Complete post-sales silence. I have now given our designer over a week to respond to my most recent contact, during which I explicitly advised him of a deadline before I filed a formal complaint. He didn’t reply. This is now a pattern, not an exception.
I want to be clear: the Gloucester branch manager stepped in and was an absolute star - calm, reassuring and genuinely helpful. This review is in no way a reflection of him or the wider team. But our designer’s post-sales service has been so consistently poor that I feel compelled to warn others. If you’re considering using him, just know that the attentiveness stops the moment your deposit clears.

Just had my Fitted Wardrobes put in from wrens, fab customer service all very pleasant helpful staff. Especially Abbey who very very understanding and helped with choices. They answered the phone within a couple of mins. And you actually speak to a Human. The fitter was a fantastic worker called Richard who went above and beyond, I also got my Kitchen from Wren, 2 years ago. Same service fab Quality units. I have recommended someone who also got a fab Kitchen. I got 250 off my wardrobes, would definitely Recommend this company, thank you.

Wren Kitchen US just filed chapter 7 bankruptcy on April 24th. The day after letting all of their US employees go, leaving thousands of customers without kitchens and leaving their business partners with no explanation. Look into the public statement Home Depot made to NBC on how they had no idea Wren was closing down. Company full of fraudsters and lies. US is much bigger country than UK and with all the many lawsuits I’m sure will come out of this do not do business with Wren or you too will probably end up with your money in their pocket and no kitchen or way to cook for your children or family. Just like all of their US customers right now. UK lines won’t even help us they refuse or say they will call back and never do. Shocker. Do not do business with Wren YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!

Sales pitch was great, paid for my bedroom wardrobes up front, then down hill it went. Costomer services are poor, for such a large company they are only oprn 9 -5 Monday to Friday. Bed room should have been fitted on the 14th March 26, I had the 11th March off for delivery, was delivered but parts missing, I asked what hapoebs was told by the driver i needed to phone the number in the design pack, i could only see the store number i phoned them, they said they would get the sales persob who sold me the wardrobes to ring me back, 6pm came no call, i rang again to be told i needed to ring customer services but they were now closed, he offered to send an email to them, i expected to here from customer services either a phone call or email, nothing, so i rang on the 13th March to be told the missing parts were coming on the Monday 2 days after the fitting, they hadnt informed me of this, i had to quickly change my work schedule to accomadate, i would never have been informed and they would have tried to deliver to an empty house. On Tuesday 10th March the installer rang me to say he would see me on Friday the 13th March, i said no you are booked fir the 14th March, this seems to be a common theme with Wren. The instalker came on the 14th took measurements says there was a problem abd needed to go to the store, i never saw him again. This left me with 40 plus boxes in my house for the following month. Customer services take little to no responsibility, there attitude is enough to make you lose your temper, im unclear what script they are using but its anything but customer focused. They told me i could find my own fitter, that they had delivered the service when i pointed out the wardrobes were still in boxes and that i had paid for fitting he backed away from his comnent. That they work on a 6 to 8 week lead time, they appear to have no contigency plan for if things go wrong, when i asked about the missing items, they said we do 2000 bedrooms it goes wrong on occasions, eventually they found a installer, i told them i could not do the 10th April but i coukd do the 15th, Instalker duly contacrs me to say he will see me on the 10th April, i said i cant do the 10th Wren know this, he saud that what theyve booked, luckly he changed his plans to accomdate me. I had attempted several times that i wish to complain they tried to steer me away from that each time, i eventually insisted i wanted to complain I never heard from Wren again until Monday 20th April when a manager rang me, i said is this about the complaint no he says ive sent your guarentee, i relayed my disgust at the service again, i said i would like to know where my complaint is in the system, ive not heard from them again.
They seems to think that you can take endless time off work for their errors, then be patronised by a very limited customer services, if the firm spent more money on customer services and operations they might have a half way decent service.
The products are good they are to a high spec but the adter sales service is shocking and due to this i woukd never ever purchase from this company again.

this post is to make the people of Yorkshire aware of the very poor and unprofessional service wren Wakefield offer not just to the public but to the trade. All this is down the the rude and unhelpful store manager ().
First one of my customers entered the store wanting some advice on worktops, but soon as he found out she had already had a quote from another branch he turned her away and would not help her at all, wouldn’t give her any of his time and told her to go look around her self! (This very near caused my customer to cancel her kitchen altogether but because the Doncaster branch were so good saved the sale)
Secondly!!!!!!
I sent a customer into wren she chose which branch her self to go to, unfortunately she ended up in the worst store in the uk (Wakefield) just to put it out there the designers and (assistant manager) are and were fantastic, my customer gave our details as a trade referral but designer couldn’t find us for some strange reason she had a quote and then tried again a few weeks later to give our details again couldn’t do it! She then phoned us to let us know, we thn contacted Wakefield wren and ended up speaking to manager Wow I have never experienced a call like it the unwillingness to help was unreal. I explained what had happened and he refused to put as a trade referral stating this isn’t a referral and I need to call ahead (baring in mind my branch is Doncaster and he wouldn’t have got a sale at all) saying he needs evidence this is a referral! My customer rang up on several occasions and said it was a referral she would have gone elsewhere had we not recommended wren to them, still refusing to put as a trade referral even though all the staff in Wakefield branch are saying it is a referral including the designer. This has now been escalated and complaints logged about this so called manager and how bad he is treating people.
If a member of public or a tradesman is wanting to use wren stay very clear of this branch and go elsewhere nothing but rude and argumentative attitude from the manager
We will never use Wakefield branch ever! Until this terrible manager is replaced!!!
Update 28th April
This kitchen was delivered 6-8 weeks ago and still not complete due to the incompetence of the Wakefield branch and the amount of errors, trade refusing to speak to me because the manager thinks he’s the king ding of wren and wouldn’t put as a referral when clearly was, so as a public sale anything damaged or incorrect takes forever to sort out or replace, wrens compact laminate isn’t worth it all worktops replaced due to bowing etc. designed on Belfast sink and ended up sending the units for an over mount sink! Then changed to Belfast unit, u it too small. Absolute nightmare never witnessed anything like this! 5th visit to a kitchen which should have been complete in 3-4 days. Who’s paying my labour to keep going back?

The most awful experience with Wrens kitchen in Coventry! They seem to be very helpful when ordering but after sales awful! Half the items don't arrive or arrive broken! Spoke to the guy who sold us the kitchen and he's unwilling to help and just passes the blame and lies about things he says - apparently things he's said in person do not count and only email confirmation do! Lied about putting a sink on our order and now has to fork out more money for it! The guy we spoke to is full of lies!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I am always uncomfortable when making complaints, but, in fairness to Gemma, the young lady who handled my complaint at Wren Kitchens in Hereford, I found her, whilst being completely professional, to be very respectful and easy to talk to.
She made the anticipated problem not a problem at all.
Thank you Gemma!

Update to response below.
So waited in again today expecting delivery, and just found out they have lost it. This is the 3rd non delivery. 1st one just didn't show up, 2nd one said they had run out of hours on their way to us, and 3rd one, they've lost the delivery !! So once again I will have to put back my builder planned for tomorrow and rearrange the worktop fitting whenever that will be.
Oh, and by the way no one has called me Callum, but I'm not surprised !

Update to Wrens response below:
Hi Callum
You must have misread my review as it is still ongoing. I hope it will be resolved by the end of this week as I am told delivery will now be tomorrow and installation Wed / Thurs.
I will keep you updated if there are any further delays, I hope there will not be.
Regards
Ann

Not happy at all with Wrens. Bought a £20K kitchen which I had to pay upfront, and then I was on my own. It’s been nearly a month now and still waiting on delivery of missing parts before the worktop can be fitted. During that time we’ve had no hob or sink (or oven for the first week) and still no confirmation of when it will be finished. I’ve had to chase deliver and installation, it seems they all work in silos, no one seems to know what the other is doing. I’ve had deliveries not turning up without informing me. Then turning up another day without notice. One delivery just called to say he had driven too many hours and was going back to the depot. Each of these failed deliveries meant I had to put back the worktop installation and then try to get the builder to rearrange his schedule to install the units before the worktop, which is a nightmare. My son is having his kitchen done at the same time, he went to Howdens and has had no trouble at all. I only went to Wrens because I didn’t want to have to find a builder. As it happens the builder is great, it’s their only saving grace.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company’s conduct. Without any warning or communication, they abruptly shut down all operations in the United States while continuing to operate in the United Kingdom. This decision left countless customers, including myself, in an incredibly difficult position—mid-project, with homes in disarray and no clear path forward.
What makes this situation even worse is the complete lack of accountability. Contracts were signed, substantial payments were made in good faith, and yet the company walked away from its obligations without notice. There has been no meaningful communication, no support, and no effort to make customers whole. Refunds have not been issued, and attempts to get assistance have led nowhere—just a generic form that provides no answers and no resolution.
This is not just poor customer service; it reflects a serious disregard for contractual responsibility and basic business ethics. Customers trusted this company with major home investments, and in return were abandoned without recourse.
I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company to think twice. The way they have handled this situation raises serious concerns about reliability, integrity, and their commitment to customers.
