I don’t even want to give them a star... got into an accident wasn’t my fault bare in mind this was 4 months ago, they have only just got back to me saying I basically lost and have to pay an amount that nobody has in their account at that present moment I told them okay I’ll pay in instalments and the man told me if I do that he would cancel my insurance bare in mind my insurance is already finished supposed to get a renewal quote so what exactly are you cancelling.

They like to threaten you cause if an insurance company cancel your policy getting a new one could be difficult all I’ll say is don’t use them I didn’t even know they where attached to the insurance company I was originally with

Avoid at all costs

Avoid! I had to take out a policy with these bottom feeders as I was abroad, and the search engines came up with freakishly high premiums, & so I had to arrange cover at short notice. Got back to the UK & found more normal premiums, but when I tried to cancel I found they do not pro-rata cancellation rates; they take 40% of the premium if you cancel after 1 month. Avoid at all costs. True scumbags

The worst insurance company on the…

The worst insurance company on the market by far.
you have my deepest condolences if you find yourself insured with this company.
if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to use them prepare yourself for absolute misery and hell.
This company literally couldn't care less about you or your car and will do anything in their power to keep the process as painful and slow as possible.
Not forgetting constantly been threatened that they are going to cancel your claim through the most smallest insignificant things.
They are 100% never going to be on your side in an accident even if you have DashCam footage that it's not your fault.
I suggest taking a small course in insurance because they will miss out loads of details which the normal customer would have no clue about, constantly trying to trip you up and setting you up to fail.
Trying to get hold of them is practically impossible the amount of phone calls I made and every time the person who was dealing with my case just so happened not to be at his desk (no wonder my claim took forever),
Email? Forget it I sent multiple emails asking important questions and asking for help of which I was ignored for 6 weeks!
After 6 weeks waiting for a reply from them the email I got sent was demanding information from the police that hadn't been sent out yet, therefore I then had to waste police time trying to get this information being passed from pillar to post, because if I didn't obtain this information once again they use their old line of they were going to cancel the claim.
A very obvious running theme of this insurance company is fear and scaremongering.

All in all this company is absolutely useless how they have got a licence to trade I have no idea.
My accident happened back in February, was a very clean cut accident the car was written off so no repairs.
To this day my finance company are still waiting for a check to arrive that was supposed to be sent over two weeks ago, yes that's right a check in 2019(says quite a lot about an insurance company that can't even send a cheque correctly).

I would highly recommend any other company apart from excess direct if you find yourself in a predicament what you have no other choice I feel extremely sorry for you.

Someone stole my car whilst insured…

Someone stole my car whilst insured with these clowns, they made me stay on the phone for 1 hour 25 minutes to fill out a claims form and then at the end she said and you will get your own form in the post to fill out, I asked about my hire car and she told me to call the broker ?, she also told me I’m to wait 48 hours for a claims handler to call me, they ask silly questions like where did you buy your car I answered cargiant she said what’s that, I was told to call one call the broker to arrange a hire car however one call said they wouldn’t offer a hire car for theft, Xsdirect say I should take it up with one call and one call blame Xsdirect, I didn’t end up with a hire car and I spent 3 hours on the phone in the end, just avoid if you can as it’s not real fully comp, £3000 excess and terrible customer service, try call the claims department before you buy and see that you will wait 45 minutes for the first answer then they put you on hold. The whole set us is a scam and I will be watching my claim closely and they seem to be very prone to making mistakes, wish me luck

Complete cover group discount

I got Xs direct insurance through complete cover group.
I was helped with my car insurance by a nice girl called Sophia at complete cover group she coached me into getting such a great deal by guiding me to say I was married and a nurse ( I never knew this would get you money off your insurance) although I’m happy with my insurer XS direct I feel my excess is high. My friend said she did the same with him and got him discounts he said her name was Sophia hassain, we would have loved to give 5 stars to the complete cover group and Xs direct but feel that she get getting a lot of commission so don’t need it but are happy to recommend using this company for discounts.

Stay away warning !!!!!!!

If I could do zero stars I would
If I could do zero stars I would. Please Please check the Underwriter of the Insurance policy you are buying. If it is XS Direct Do Not use them.
They are a joke, legalised robbers. Simple as that. There excess is all party excess meaning they come after you for the debt even if the claim is not your fault and you are not claiming for your own car. Also if like many pay for your insurance monthly they will look for a y excuse to cancel your policy hitting you with a bill as the debt is now with you and they get full payment from the finance company. STAY AWAY

The worst insurance company in the…

The worst insurance company in the world. If you are about to get insured with these scumbags DONT. trust me you would rather walk everywhere then get insured with these scumbags, £3000 excess all sections and trust me they try and make every use of it. In the event of a claim that is not your fault, they will try and force you to admit liability. If you dont they will threaten cancellation of your policy. I will be trying to take them down from now on sending many reports to the financial ombudsman, I believe this company should not exist they are frauds.

Only do business with XSDirect if you have no other options

I was desperate for insurance when applying for quotes as I only had a foreign license at the time. Luckily XSDirect did cover me, but that's where their service stopped and I was fortunate enough to never have to file a claim with them. When time finally came to renew my insurance policy, I chose another company (to save thousands from XSDirect) and requested my no claims bonus letter from my broker Chill.ie, who contacted XSDirect. The no claims bonus letter was sent on unauthenticated paper with no header, obviously unprofessional of a company. As any reputable insurance company would do, my no claims bonus letter was rejected by my new insurer. I contacted XSDirect directly, which would never directly respond back to me but would continually refer me to my broker Chill Insurance. After many emails, phone calls and online chat, absolutely nothing was done about the very simple issue that is the unprofessionalism of XSDirect that they reflected in my no claims bonus letter. I am looking forward to beginning this year with a reputable insurance company and leaving XSDirect behind me to say the least.

XS Direct!!! Stay away..

It's been 20 days since they received my car for engineer report for an third party fault accident, but still waiting for my money to be sorted out. Other party says they sorted out everything and accepted fault since the beginning. It's a complete useless firm that All they are trying to do is getting my car as cheap as possible for the salvage value to make money. Stay away and keep your car away from them.
They're now passed to Fin. Ombd. Services for cheating their clients.

Nasty company. Rude staff . If i could i would give a minus 10. They done everything in their power to p
Upset me. Even gave me a at fault claim for no reason when they could clearly see that the third party was at fault. Do not insure with this company as they are out here to help the third party instead of you so they can make extra cash o the side. And trust me when I say we should all put a petition to scrap them because this company should exist.

Worst company i have ever dealt with!

If i could rate them under zero stars i would.
Worst company ever.
It's no coincidence they propose cheap premiums and probably only sell through brokers.
Is it a one man company ran from a garage?
I have just been waiting on the line over 2 hours just to speak to someone, Not sure they actually have a customer service.
