Don't waste your time with these…

Don't waste your time with these people. They are just con artists.

Been awaiting my refund for 3 months. Keep getting told that it will be done in 24 hours. Now they have blocked my number.

Also the holidays are no where near how they describe them.

I wouldn't even give the 1 star but I have to

AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

If it was Zero, I would have given them zero.
Absolutely shocking experience,
Booked holiday with this company to Spain, had to pay additional fees at airport for check in as they didn’t check me in despite me phoning them several times a
Day asking for boarding passes. Asked for hotel near to airport for transport reason and was told several times there will be shuttle bus which cost about 20 euros. I asked agent a few times if he is sure as I arrived before midnight. He told me that airport never sleeps. But when I arrived there was no holiday desk open no shuttle bus, nothing at all and I had to pay 100 euros for taxi. Absolutely horrible experience.
The agents didn’t seem to have a clue what they’re doing. Avoid this company

Poor Customer Service

The company are all too eager to take your money but when there’s a problem (which is their fault) they don’t want to know!
On top of the holiday price they charged an extra ‘booking fee’ of almost £300 which wasn’t mentioned previously but just as the credit card details were being processed!
We booked transfers from the airport to the hotel which never turned up and so we ended up waiting 2 hours for a taxi in the middle of the night and paying €50 -which the company said they’d reimburse at the time but despite sending them the taxi receipts which they requested AND several phone calls and emails later, have now been told by David Wood (a staff member who incidentally has left himself a 5* review!!) that they will NOT reimburse us!
The hotel booked was not as advertised- more like a tired 2* than a 4* and was far from the sandy beach -not at all how it was described on their website.
I will be AVOIDING this company in future at all costs ☹️

Negative feedback for Alvin Carter, David Wood and Zain Ul Abiddin

Alvin Carter, David Wood and Zain Ul Abiddin failed to respond to my query. I am extremely disappointed with their failure to arrange my holiday transfer appropriately.
I was left in desperation and paid €100 out of my pocket to arrange for a taxi to take us to the airport. I was left anxious and without transport to catch my scheduled flight in Antalya airport.
Hoppa transfers are willing to refund me the sum only if Holiday guides Ltd are willing to contact them. Do you call this ATOL protection and customer satisfaction?
My experience is negative until this gets sorted fully. I will never recommend anyone to use your service.
Please get back to me or Hoppa team to get my full refund. This is a service which I paid for and did not receive. I emailed you numerous times. This is one of my emails:
Hi David,
I wasn’t pleased at all as the transfer company Hoppa, which you organised never came to the hotel (Kemal Bay Hotel) to collect the 3 of us. I was left with no choice but to get a taxi to Antalya airport as we would have missed our flight.
My hotel receptionist spoke to Hoppa and they advised us to get a taxi and the amount will be refunded to my account.
Please find attached the receipt for the taxi fare which I hope will be refunded to me.
Can you please organise my refund.

Continuing saga

Continuing saga
Back in early 2019 me & my wife booked an all inclusive holiday with a couple of friends with flights transfers & baggage in a lovely hotel in Adeji for 2 weeks to leave in June 2019
Then the pandemic hit We had a bit of communication with YHG saying they wasn't going to refund us we could only get a voucher the dates had to be changed a couple of times so was all going ahead for june 2022
Then we heard nothing from them no confirmation to give hotel until the last minute we kept emailing & phoning them leaving messages then out of the blue they phoned us to say that the holiday is now for 1 week on a different part of the island in Las Americas it turned out to be 18 - 30s hotel we are in our 60s! we had no flights we had 1 hour to decide they arranged our flights with Wizz air we had no baggage allowance only laptop bag was aloud & no transfers
we had to pay £111 per couple for baggage & since found out that we can't claim this back YHG has to
Wizz air text on the morning of the holiday to say flight has been cancelled YHG phoned that afternoon to say sorry & we have heard nothing since
we've since found out that the hotel they were putting us in was £35 per night so where has all the other money gone YHG
We will now be taking legal measures

Booked through lloyd for 3 nights in…

Booked through lloyd for 3 nights in Iceland, very knowledgeable and suggested things to do. Gave great upgrade options but wasn’t pushy with them which makes a change. Good prices compared to other companies. Seems to be negative feedback but I can’t knock lloyd or the company and would book through them again
