I had an important document to send and get delivered in time and they went above and beyond to make sure it happened, even allowing me to post a second time with them free of charge as gesture to help me. Companies like this are important and I would much rather use them than any posting service of courier.

Really great service. I paid for first class postage on a FREEPOST letter to the DWP and they emailed me saying they’ve sent it and refunded me the postage cost as it’s Freepost. I didn’t even have to ask! It was very kind, thank you and I will definitely recommend your service.

I don’t have a printer and wanted a letter posting. I have two children under 2 so getting out and finding somewhere that would print my letter and then having to go to a post office to send it was just something I really couldn’t be bothered with. I googled a printing place originally and this came up. It took about 2 minutes to upload it, choose how I wanted it sending and it was done. For second class letter it was £1.99!! It took all that stress away from me. What would’ve taken all day, took 2 bloody minutes!! Honestly they saved my soul. From one tired, stressed mama, THANK YOU.

So glad I found this service. We live outside of the UK but often have to serve legal documents and needed an easy way to do this without asking friends and family. Modern Mail was great value (I had to print a booklet and accompanying letters so approx 25 pages) at £16 for the signed for service and SO easy to use, literally a couple of clicks. Saved me SO much hassle. I also emailed to ask some questions and got a quick, friendly response. So grateful, has made my life so much easier. Thank you

Royal Mail messed up the delivery but ModernMail were wonderful. Refunded my money and still had my letter delivered via another service.

Excellent First-Time Experience with Modern Mail
This was my first time using Modern Mail and I was seriously impressed. I needed to send a formal complaint letter by recorded delivery and uploaded my PDF at 7:00am. The whole process was smooth and easy — their website is simple to use, and uploading documents only took a couple of minutes.
By 3:00pm the same day, I received confirmation by email that the letter had been posted via recorded delivery. The speed, reliability, and professionalism really stood out.
If you need to send important letters quickly without the hassle of going to the post office, I 100% recommend Modern Mail. I’ll definitely be using them again. Great service from start to finish.

I found the document upload interface and postage process with Modernmail to be very unclear and confusing. There were no clear instructions or guidance, which made the whole experience frustrating. To make matters worse, there is no contact phone number available anywhere on their site, and no online chat option to get immediate help.
I sent an email inquiry and waited for three days without any kind of response-not even an automated acknowledgment. This lack of communication is unacceptable for any company handling important mail services. Additionally, there is no company address listed, and the domain registrant details are masked by a proxy, which raises concerns about transparency.
I tried to research the company on Companies House and found a possible link to an individual on LinkedIn with some computer experience, but no mention of Modern Mail. However, after my experience, I have no confidence in the company’s professionalism or reliability.
Due to all these issues, I was forced to look elsewhere for a more trustworthy and responsive mailing service.
