It couldn’t have been easier to book with Taskher. They recommended Candice for my plumbing job. She communicated well before the job, turned up on time, did it expertly and efficiently, was neat and tidy and left the work area spotless. The certificates arrived that evening. Brilliant.

Great service in helping me find an electrician and get some jobs done that I have been putting off. Jayne was fabulous and I'll be asking her to come back for another couple of jobs. Website was easy to use but it would have been great to be able to say I have some parts and want the electrician to bring others (the only options are "I have the parts" or "I want the tradesperson to bring the parts".

It's so hard to find reputable people nowadays especially when you have smaller jobs. So Taskher is fabulous.

We had some work done on our lights and switches/sockets by Jayne (electrician). She was great from start to finish - professional, friendly, reliable, good communication and paid great attention to detail. We are so happy with her work and would definitely recommend her to others. We will definitely use Task Her again in the future :)

I am a first time flat owner and know nothing about anything. Also it's totally scary having some random man at your home. Like who is he. Being able to choose entirely from women and the website makes it easy to understand what you're booking, when they are gonna come (bang on time btw), what they are gonna do and what you will get charged (also super reasonable price for quality work) is fabulous.
I had electrical safety certificate done and Erin was really great. Like i am feeling much safer about my flat and now much safer about calling a trade cos now I can make sure its a lady and a trustworthy service. So many stars. Hoping to call Erin back for other jobs too!

Booked Francesca to service our boiler. She communicated well ahead of her arrival and turned up on time. Clearly explained what she was doing and even sorted out a few radiator issues we had when she was here. Was very friendly and professional.

As an interior designer working with bold shapes and tricky paint schemes, I needed someone fearless, and Sharon absolutely delivered! Her steady hand, crisp paint lines, and perfect wallpapering took everything up a notch. She draws perfect circles freehand (!) and brought warmth, skill and reliability to the team. I’m genuinely grateful for her work, and I hope to collaborate on many more colourful homes together!

Excellent company, reliable tradespeople, delivered on time and to a high standard. Rachel did a plumbing job for me last week and it was done faster than expected. I also worked with taskher to have a gas engineer repair my hob last year and had a similarly good experience

Leah was great. Very efficient and professional and explained things clearly. She replacing our broken electric shower with a new one now working well! Happy to recommend her.

I woke up at 8am to the sound of a leak behind the wall. No water pressure on the tap, boiler going rogue. Went on Taskher, booked a job in 5 mins online on my mobile, and the amazing Plumber Rachel arrived at 2pm to save the day. It is now the 3rd time I use Taskher, always in a dire situation and not only they're show up ON TIME, they're ultra COMPETENT and they don't cost an arm like Pimlico would for the same job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We needed an electrician to inspect our electrics and possibly change the box that houses them. Erin took on the job and we appreciated her honesty about not needing to change the box and confirming the current box is within regulation. She was lovely and did a good job with the inspection. We'd definitely use TaskHer's and Erin's services again.

We used TaskHer to get a painter to paint our flat, and it was fabulous! Love empowering women, and she was so friendly and nice to deal with. I had complete faith in her, and she delivered! 100% would use again.

I had a great first experience with TaskHer. Clair was really helpful during the sign-up process. Candice, the heating and gas engineer, was easy to communicate with around her visits. She helped me to understand why my hot water wasn't working as well as how the water worked in my flat. She enabled me to make informed decisions and she resolved the issue. As a woman living alone who has experienced stalking behaviour from a male neighbour in the recent past, I can't tell you how much better I felt knowing that the stranger coming into my home would be a woman. It was also empowering to not need to rely on a man to fix something at home for me, grateful as I am to the lovely men who have helped me with other things! And I'm pleased to support women in skilled manual trades. Nothing to improve although I would love to be able to book a handywoman.

I used TaskHer to find a painter/decorator in London. This is a great platform and service. The process connecting me with decorator Faith was straightforward and the quote/overall costs were honest and very fair. The work done looks amazing.
I will definitely use TaskHer again for other work and hope the company can continue to expand the number of tradeswomen of all trades they have and thrive.

From the booking process to meeting my plumber Rachel and completing the job, the service was excellent. Rachel kept me informed on her ETA and was friendly and professional in doing the job quickly, cleanly and efficiently. Her advice and recommendations were great too. I'll definitely book again. I've recommended TaskHer to all my friends!

I booked a plumber through TaskHer to install a fully integrated dishwasher. The installation didn’t happen, and I was charged for both labour and parts. Eventually, I received a partial refund (£95 labour + £42 parts) — and I do appreciate that the refund was processed.

However, the main problem wasn’t the payment — it was the communication and the way the situation was handled. I had clearly stated (in the platform’s own chat) that the plumber needed to coordinate with a building engineer to shut off the mains and proceed with the installation. The plumber didn’t respond (I later found out she was unwell), but no one from TaskHer stepped in, even though they could see the conversation.

What followed felt more like being ignored and gaslit than supported. I was told that I’d never made the request — even though it was right there in the message history. I didn’t expect miracles, just for someone to read the thread, see what needed to be done, and offer to send another plumber. Instead, I got vague messages like “please let us know if you still need help.”

I originally chose TaskHer because I wanted to support a female-led business and hire tradeswomen — and I was more than happy to pay a higher-than-average rate for that. But in the end, the experience was frustrating, slow, and lacked ownership or proactive support.

The refund was issued — and that’s the only reason this is not a zero-star review. But I won’t be using TaskHer again, and I wouldn't recommend them unless the platform makes serious improvements to how it handles support and escalation.

Such a great experience using Taskher. Everything was easy, straightforward and quick throughout the booking process and subsequent work. The whole team are friendly and helpful and, for once, I didn't feel anxious inviting a tradesperson into my home. Shout outs to Candice and Clair for their great work and support.
