Ordered and paid for part on 8th of June. Has not appeared by the 3rd of August. No answer to two emails nor to telephone calls. Have they stolen my money?

I did initially take my previous comments back, however since then I bought further items from their Ebay store and 2 weeks later still no parts. I queried this with them to be told they had been delivered by Royal Mail. Despite the fact that the tracking showed them as in transit! What a horrible dishonest outfit displaying absolutely zero customer service!
I will now pursue the return of my money.

Made an online order for items in stock normally shipped next working day. No delivery – no response to telephone calls – no response to emails. Now I learn, this all as experienced by the majority of the many Trustpilot reviewers. Also for those few that do happen get through, expect an abusive response and zero customer service. If you want to throw money away, just burn it with a lighter - its quicker! The authorities need to shut this trader down permanently.

I used them five years ago and no problem. Recently, I ordered a component and they took so long to dispatch that I asked for the order to be cancelled. They were willing to do so and I got it sent out the very next day from another supplier. But I am curious as to why the dispatch is taking longer than other suppliers.

Ive sent repeated emails with no reply
Phoned the number in the UK many times and it always times out - no answer
I will be very surprised if I ever get the parts

This company is a scam - do not use them - unless they honour my order

Gave 1 out of 5 because I couldnt give zero ! Ordered five speedo bezels (in stock on the website) in February and paid by Paypal (thank goodness). Had receipt and said would be despatched in next few days .. nothing received. Sent an email, no reply, called after a month .. 'sorry having issues with suppliers due to COVID' (still showing in stock. Left another month, emailed, no reply .. Called and got abrupt reply .. 'due in shortly, gibe me a few days' . Left a month, emailed, no reply. Called 'due in today .. will be with you in next couple days' Nothing received . Then read these reviews .... realised I wasn't alone. Filed case with Paypal on 5 June and have just refunded me. Do not use this outfit, or if you do dont expect to get the goods any time soon. The worst thing is the total lack of communication by email and (if you get through) a rather abrupt, verging on rude retort from the proprietor.

Ordered a starter motor. Got an email stating that my order would be sent shortly. 3 weeks later no response to various emails I've sent inquiring about my order. I'm afraid I think I've been scammed

I ordered 150 GBP worth of spares on 14 October 2020, reply mail quoted price , paid by internet banking , email from firm said ok spares will be dispatched. 14 November I send the local police around, email from Dave AES, said we had a flood , no internet or phones. Saying he will send the spares ASAP. Dec 7 email sent asking where the spares are , Dave said they had been dispatched, Dec 30, asked again where the spares are he stated they had been held up at the docks. Brexit problem. 7 Jan 2021 asked about the order, and a REFUND. 13 Jan Dave said his business account was unable to send money to a european bank. ???? 24 Jan wrote a stinking email to Dave , and as I am writing this report just recieved a mail from Dave stating that he will send asap with a track and trace number . I wonder .Either he has had a lot of bad luck or he is a scammer. I will up date this report when I receive the parts ?????.

Products were as described, despite some previous reviews they are a decent company. My only criticism would be that communication with the customer needs improving in regards to order updates. Some reviews have said that they are rude to customers however from my experience I can say that is not the case they are very helpful on the phone.

Appalling service. The parts were not right. I returned them and I asked for refund but got no reply to emails or phone. still waiting for refund weeks afterwards.

Terrible !!!

I placed my order and got a prompt confirmation. The parts did not arrive, the phone was not answered many times, and when the phone was finally answered the guy asked for my order number and then shouted at me telling me it was not acceptable for me to call him and that he would now cancel my order !!!

I ordered some Lucas parts on the 5th August and received a prompt acknowledgment letting me know that goods would be dispatched shortly and they would notify me as soon this was done. No word since then, despite multiple emails and the phone has never been answered. I ordered from the website but they also sell through Amazon and Ebay and don't understand how they can be allowed to use these platforms with this level of service. A complete conjob.

The items finally arrived. I have no idea when they were posted. but they aren't crooks, just terrible communicators.

I'm in Australia and ordered 2 Lucas items from them, on 16 August 2020, paid with PayPal. Got the confirming email. I phoned on 1 September 2020 and asked for tracking number. Was advised it had been sent Royal Mail and with Covid may take a couple of weeks more to get to me. Promised to email the tracking number to me. Since then, nothing despite multiple phone calls (never answered, and no voicemail facility) multiple emails (and marked for notify receipt and read) nothing back. Sent a message on their website facility, no response.
I think they must be crooks, with a site that mimics the reputable Auto Electrical Supplies company, and are just out to fleece enthusiasts. Meanwhile my car remains unusable because the dash light dimmer rheostat is defunct and needs replacing. Documentation available to verify.

I ordered a part from Auto Electrical Spares paid for it by Paypal and immediately received a confirmation e-mail telling me my order was received and paid for, including 1st class delivery and that it was about to be despatched. One week on when there was no sign of it I phoned their contact number and spoke to a person who asked for the order number and then confirmed it had previously been posted . Over the next week I sent two e-mails asking when I could expect delivery. Neither of these e-mails seemed to merit the courtesy of a reply and as of 20th October my order has still not materialised. I consider this to be a less than professional approach from a company that advertises as the go-to for all your Classic Lucas Electrical Spares.

Claims he’s got every thing in stock so I try to do my bit to buy local. But unfortunately this man does not deserve it, he is the reason people turn to the internet. Multiple phone calls to him which he does not answer, visit his unit for him to just shrug his shoulders and walk off. Absolutely no customer service at all. Do not waste your money or your time. Please go elsewhere, you only need to see the other reviews below. Wish I had seen them before.

Following up on my previous review. The proprietor of this business has now contacted me by email. The lack of response was due to sickness and is therefore understandable.

The Web site promises prompt shipping. They took my money immediately and sent an email promising to process my order as soon as possible. After 2 weeks, no order, no more contact, no tracking information. I sent them a respectful email to ask when it will ship. After another week, no reply. I phoned, twice, no answer, no voicemail. I sent another respectful email, no reply. By their terms notification of non-delivery needs to be done before 30 days. After worrying about whether the company was still in business the order arrived after 5 weeks and was as expected.

If you want to waste your time, then order from them.
Wait a week with no delivery, and then contact them.
You'll get no reply.
Eventually get through after calling, emailing, and then using their Ebay shop to contact them, only to be given a false tracking number.
Wait another week, and then contact them again.
Finally be told; "there is no tracking so i have refunded in full...".
Glad I paid with Paypal!

Seriously don't bother with them. The likes of these cowboys have no place in business.

This company or 'man' does not reply to anything by email. I feel it is a miracle I spoke to a man on the phone and he agreed to refund me
if I sent the item back to them. I have proof they received the item 09-01-2020. It was in the original box and was well wrapped.

I find it is fraudulent to promise something by any company who do not keep their promise. This company should suffer the most serious consequences for not carrying out their business practises as per UK law.

The worst experience i have ever had .dealing with them is a nightmare
