If you can't assemble it don't bother
Delivery guys dropped the heavy mechanism but pretended nothing has happened even though the raising of the bed is noisier than the other bed. Divan was damaged with a deep scratch but customer relations said it wasn't and just the nature of the fabric.

My Husband is a recovering transplant patient with an ICD and is also now in recovery from Skin Cancer and I am a Pensioner of 66 years. In June 2025 we bought what we thought was going to be our dream bed and mattress from Bensons and the staff, who were very nice, were informed it was very important that my husband sleeps well to aid recovery and we needed to be sure everything was guaranteed which we were assured was not an issue. HOWEVER, after a short period of time , we started to feel lumps and bumps forming on the mattress. Feeling it was too early to complain, We continued to turn the mattress per instructions provided but there was no improvement. Long story short, we paid £1649.99 for a mattress from Bensons Beds. In fact, Our total bill including bed frame etc was £2631.46. Barely one year from purchase Bensons for Beds Customer Services are refuting there is a flaw with the mattress. They sub contracted a technician to measure for settlement using a contraption that In our opinion, is not fit for purpose and we are now left with the prospect of having to obtain credit to buy another mattress which we don't know will meet the standard required but according to Bensons for Beds performance, we may again not have a leg to stand on when it comes to guarantees. So, I'm sure you will understand why at this moment in time We wouldn't advise ANYBODY to purchase anything from them as their guarantees are not worth the paper they are written on. We are awaiting the final response from Customer Services as per the Ombudsman's regulations at which point we will be taking this up further with them.
