From ordering inshore to it being delivered

Great music and fantastic play

I used pre-order service hoping that I’ll receive my order on the day when it was released. This what happed before but not anymore. Unfortunately, despite that order was dispatched days prior to delivery day, it didn’t reach me till a few days after the promised date. The chat left me with a number of apologies and no parcel. Very disappointed. I’d not recommend this service. Click and collect for me from now on.

Checked the boxset was in my local store online and then phoned to reserve it. Got confirmation about an hour later that it was available to collect. Fantastic. Very pleased.

Quick delivery, all discs as new, haven’t played them yet though.

Have been a customer with HMV for some good many years now, Any problems that arrives/damaged by transit post were quickly resolved by HMV customer service team. Because of my health issues getting around is problematic and I've found many really good price offers online. From payment/Basket page order section to delivery is better or faster than many other website sellers. Not many delivery men knock loud enough for me to hear these days, often or not my items are just thrown down or left by overzealous delivery persons in a hurry who still stick to a strict COVID style and disappear like the rising sunset, this results in a few times items getting picked up by passers-by leaving me baffled at when my items/orders if ever arrive. It was in my opinion a sad time when local HMV stores close to me by bus or within a short walking distance closed their doors forever. Ordering online from HMV may be getting faster, easier or cheaper, but like many of my generation who still miss the walking in store experience, just being able to rummage or hunt through the hundreds of DVDS, GAMES & other items on the shelves made my HMV purchase have some value. HMV could perhaps bring so of their smaller stores back in the near future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Initially when I'd pre order the cd, I was supposed to pick it up at the store, but the timing was a little off, as they were moving their premises, i had an email from them to tell me because of that, they will have to send it to me via post, and because it's not my fault, I didn't need to pay for the postage. Which was very good of them. Will definately recomend these guys. They go far and beyond to be helpful.

I was very very happy as it arrived on the release date as I had pre ordered it,I was kept informed of the status of my order and when I pre ordered it I liked that my payment was taken straight away as some companies take payment on arrival
