There was some initial confusion when they said someone called the service and cancel my appointment. Bit they did carry on. So it's fine.

Very knowledgeable guy who did the service on my drive at home. Good to talk to the mechanic instead of sat in a waiting room. Everything done to an excellent standard. Very pleased.

AA came out to fix my brake pads and discs however as a result I cannot use my car as I have lots of brake warning lights. The brake change caused the battery to die damaging the module in the car. As a result AA won’t fix my car so now we have no car, no courtesy car and my wife cannot work through no fault of our own.

Customer service being far from useful so far, even the number AA provide in response to my review is the same one I’ve been dealing with that haven’t sorted this out at all! Complete shambles!!

Mechanic turned up with a pre-call before arriving. Spent an hour looking over the car and had some recommendations for work to be done. I was told I would get a report which I did but had to chase up with Smartcare to confirm the mechanics recommendations for further work. Still awaiting another appointment.

The garage used for my MOT was spot on, good value and did what they needed to.

The actual service was superb. The only thing that stopped it being a being 5 star was the communication on the day. Didn't recieve any message on the morning of nor 15 mins prior to the work which meant the engineer was sitting there waiting for me to arrive.

Very professional and polite no nonsense just completed the job in excellent time. Explained any questions I had and I would definitely recommend and use again. Great service Thanks

So satisfied with the service,, I recieved,, I booked a service online and they came out at the earliest possible date which was 3 days the service took place on my drive way, recieved an email confirming my booking and what the next steps will be, Then recieved a text message to confirm on the day and recieved a text message to confirm the time they were due to arrive everything was sorted in a couple of hours very happy with the service and also got it at a 10% discount so bonus ☺️

The engineer who arrived to replace the alternator was talented, capable and had a fantastic attitude!!
The night before I received a message saying I must deliver my car to the garage by 8:30am and that was massively confusing since the service was booked to take place in my driveway and I absolutely needed my car repaired! I called the next morning and was told ‘oh that’s just a standard message’!!! Duhh!!
Then after the repair I received a message ‘please pick up your car at the garage or you will be charged a fee’!!! What the Ffffffff?!?
Stupid unnecessary confusion and when I called to question the situation I was treated with nonchalance and dismissal, without the slightest interest to learn/adapt/improve!

The engineer arrived in time slot and explained what he would be doing and what parts he would be fitting. He also introduced me to his apprentice who would be working along side of him.The brake discs and pads were fitted professionally and the whole area was left clean and tidy.I would definitely use AA smart care again.

This was a survey for a company I was doing, to book and price overall was good. But as the vehicle in question had a pre MOT and a pre check for service 3 weeks earlier I was not impressed by the email and text that the car needs extra work for £149. OK the work or decline . Obviously I declined and due to the decline I got a reply stating to remove the vehicle as soon as possible or you may incur extra charges for storage.the reaction when I mentioned this at the garage was “never heard of that before “ And when I was leaving after getting paperwork there was a comment of you have a nice day but sarcastically.. so will NEVER use smart care again.

Easy system to use. Garage was friendly and professional.

Recently (17/08/2026) used the AA home visit car service.
I can honestly say the whole experience was superb.
I was updated every step of the way in relation to the time of my visit and the AAmechanic Martin arrived exactly on time and gave my vehicle a complete and comprehensive service that lasted for approximately two and a half hours.
It is so much easier than visiting a garage and I will be using this method for all my future vehicle services
I would recommend this service to anyone and I was more than pleased with it

AA man rang us before arriving at our campsite. Worked quickly and tidied up after himself.
The work was done to a high standard and he offered professional advice on another fault.
Very convenient and I will definitely use this service again.

I am so pleased with the service I received today. AA smart care made everything so easy, I did the booking through the AA app. It was simple even for an old bird like me. my car was collected by A&G garage, manchester and dropped back off. This was so convenient as I dont have any family or friends that could give me lifts sorting my car out. Very pleased with the whole experience.

It was very easy to book an appointment, needed brakes doing
Price was fantastic, the gentleman that did the job kept me informed about everything, how long he would be and that he checked everything out. Even told me that brake fluid needed sorting. Would definitely recommend and use them again in the future
