Useless buyer protection – not trustworthy
I complained on an online course that was bad with lacking content. Paypal declined my complaint and didn't even bother to address my main issue.
The course company Vesica also cancelled my lifetime access on the course because of the complaint. So instead of lifetime access, I got around a month. Still, Paypal didn't see any issues with the mafia behavior and sided with the seller. Paypal's "buyer protection" is obviously not worth anything.

The prices are high, but the service is good. I use it less and less these days. I had a payment dispute, and they handled it professionally. If it were cheaper, I would give it a better rating.

I have been the victim of identity fraud several times in the last 3 years. PayPal refuse to cancel my account saying they cannot verified me, due to my email.and phone number been stolen too, to date PayPal refuse to take down there hold on my credit reference agency, and my credit rating has dropped significantly. The worse company to deal with, you are not safe.

I contacted them to get a refund for a service I did not receive after about 4 weeks they decided in the dentist favour. The dentist had no proper system to give a refund which is against dental practise rules. How crazy is that no refund for a service I cancelled had to go down to the dentist to give my bank details. I could not even appeal it went through paypal assist which told me the case was still open when it was infact closed. I will pay off my paypal credit card balance and close my account. Shameful.

What a joke PayPal is. Resolution center??? What a scam. PayPal always present itself as a way to protect customers online against fraud, this is a lie. PayPal, actually, helps fraudsters to continue their fraud.
I ordered a product online, the fraud company didn't have the product and wanted to send me a replacement that is very low quality. I refused and asked them to give me my money back. They wouldn't (because they are fraudsters). As naive as I am I filed a case with PayPal and guess what? My case was rejected. Don't use PayPal, you have no protection what-so-ever. Your Master Card will offer much better protection than them.

However, I found myself needing to use it once again, dismissing my previous bad experience as a one-off. The frustration was unbearable. At first, everything looked genuine. The platform appeared professional, and I believed my investment was growing. I was excited and already making plans for the returns I expected to receive. Unfortunately, everything changed the moment I tried to withdraw my money. I was given excuses after excuses, asked to pay additional fees, and eventually realized I had been deceived. That was one of the most heartbreaking experiences I've ever had. I felt embarrassed, angry, and completely hopeless.
For a while, I blamed myself for trusting too easily. I thought my savings were gone forever and that I would have to start all over again. It was difficult to tell anyone because I felt ashamed that I had fallen for such a scheme.

I'm sharing this experience because I don't want anyone else to ignore the warning signs the way I did. Please take your time before investing with any platform. Verify everything, ask questions, and never allow promises of quick or guaranteed profits to cloud your judgment. If something feels suspicious, trust your instincts and walk away.
Losing my savings was one of the hardest lessons I've ever learned, but it also taught me to be much more careful with my finances. I hope my story encourages someone to stay alert and avoid making the same costly mistake.
They won't let me close my useless account
So out of no where, after using PayPal for a decade, they decided to permanently limit my account, with no room for appeal.
So I went to delete my useless account because why keep it when the only purpose it serves is for the website to sell my data or get hacked and for others to have access to my data, and it's using an old phone number I no longer use. I went to change it. Nope, not allowed to change it. I went to change the other information so at least if someone ever got hold of it, it would be wrong. Nope, not allowed to change that information either. I talked to customer service and they said I'm not allowed to change anything in this account, and I'm not allowed to delete the account. Like excuse me??? She said if you send your passport, drivers licence, birth certificate etc we MIGHT be able to close it for you. Absolute nutjobs, and honestly doesn't even sound legal.
They also stole the little amount of money I had in there because 1. Can't do anything with the account, and 2. It was under a dollar so apparently I'm not allowed to take my own money. Literal trillionaires can't give me back my own literal cents, Jesus Christ

I'm very angry right now because PayPal has taken it upon themselves to cancel my account. They won't tell me why and apparently the agent that did it did not leave any notes. hmm. However, I know why they did it and they had no right to do it without notifying me. My bank is the problem. They froze my debit card. Because the chip on the card obviously has a problem and I have problems with this card at several different stores. So the merchant canceled my order because the card wouldn't go through. So then PayPal went so far as to cancel my entire account. Nobody called me to discuss it and nobody asked me why and nobody called me to tell me they had canceled the account until I tried to repeat the same transaction with the same company and now I'm going to lose that discount also again. Have companies forgotten that there's a customer behind their business and maybe it would be polite to contact it customer who keeps their business running and let them know what they're doing. I called a few minutes ago to try to discuss this with a manager and of course nobody's available and they'll call me back, well that's been an hour ago and nobody's called just like I told the little agent on the phone and nobody will either.
